We are mourning a hero of rare brilliance and character, a man who carried the weight of a century within himself, like Shaheed Soleimani and Shaheed Hajizadeh. Shaheed Alireza Tangsiri is a figure who deserves his own place in history and a legacy that will be studied for generations.
Dressed in the cloak of the IRGC, he stood as a symbol of resolve and strength, a master of strategy who understood naval warfare more deeply than many of today’s most advanced forces. He commanded one of the most sensitive and strategic maritime regions in the world and reshaped its balance through vision, discipline, and preparation.
He played a defining role in the development of numerous indigenous capabilities, helping transform asymmetric naval warfare and introducing methods and systems that challenged even the most powerful fleets. His work ensured that the waters he defended would never be approached lightly by any adversary.
Shaheed Alireza Tangsiri, a son of Tangestan in Bushehr, came from the lineage of Shaheed Rais Ali Delvari and the brave men of Tangestan, who resisted British colonial forces and halted the advance of hostile armies. That same spirit of resistance lived within him.
Like Rais Ali, he too was assassinated. Yet his legacy, and the foundations he built, will endure. The Persian Gulf will remain a region defined by the strength and vigilance he helped establish. This has been our home for three thousand years.
In a recent interview, an IRGC member noted that he was known for his discipline and firm adherence to principles. When a foreign delegation once presented him with a letter in English during negotiations, he refused to accept it and asked for it to be written in Farsi instead. He upheld his language and identity without compromise.
He was not only a commander, but a builder of generations, a teacher whose influence will continue through those he trained and inspired. His absence is a great loss, but his path remains.
We pray for his acceptance and for an increase in his virtues. We pray to see many more shaped by his example, and that his legacy continues through them.

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
“Among the believers are men true to what they promised Allah. Among them is he who has fulfilled his vow, and among them is he who awaits [his chance]. And they did not alter [their commitment].”
The man of Alag, the mujahid in the path of Allah, and a great hero of the Third Sacred Defense, after nearly half a century of tireless struggle, joined the company of the Master of Martyrs.
Rear Admiral Martyr Alireza Tangsiri, following heavy strikes that led to the destruction of key enemy installations and the downing of an American fighter jet, while organizing and reinforcing forces and bolstering the defensive shield of the islands and coasts used by the invading enemies, succumbed to his injuries and returned to Allah.
Our nation is accustomed to such martyrdoms and knows that a front that has never faltered even with the passing of the greatest historical and spiritual leaders, such as Khomeini and Khamenei, continues with even greater strength. The martyrs of the field empower this continuity, as demonstrated by the IRGC Navy warriors in recent days, even in the absence of this esteemed commander, they struck decisively and maintained firm command over the Strait of Hormuz.
This force, with a history of breaking superpower operations, escorting oil tankers with basic weapons, and destroying several American warships during the eight-year Sacred Defense, has left the proud memory of capturing American and British marines and seizing enemy vessels. Every fighter is a Tangsiri, and the coming days and months will witness extraordinary achievements.
We extend our condolences and congratulations on this martyrdom to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khamenei, to the honorable people of Iran, and to the brave fighters of the IRGC Navy and Army. We pledge, along with all the Iranian people, who in these days and nights are creating the greatest epic in history, that we will not rest until the complete destruction of the enemy and the liberation of Quds.

Enemy Watch — Official
In the occupied territories, sirens sounded across Dimona, Beersheba, Ofakim, Arad, the Negev, Dead Sea, Yehuda, and surrounding regions, with continuous early warning alerts issued. Multiple Iranian missile waves struck Beersheba, with powerful explosions confirmed repeatedly by Israeli media and non-stop shelling toward the Negev. Hundreds of thousands moved to shelters, with alerts extending across southern and central regions. Missile launches continued toward Haifa, Tel Aviv, Netanya, and northern areas, while sirens were activated in over 190 locations including Acre, Nazareth, Tiberias, Herzliya, and western Galilee. Missile debris and interceptions were reported across multiple zones, while new waves continued to be launched within short intervals.
A major northern escalation centered on Haifa, where joint Iranian and Hezbollah missile and rocket barrages struck simultaneously. At least 6 direct impacts were recorded in Haifa, with rockets falling in Haifa Bay, Kiryat Ata, Shfaram, and multiple surrounding sites, including 7 shrapnel locations and multiple building hits. Critical infrastructure was heavily targeted, including Haifa Port, oil refinery, petrochemical facilities, fuel storage tanks, and industrial zones, with fires breaking out and firefighting teams deployed. The refinery was hit multiple times, with fuel tanks damaged and petrochemical facilities affected, causing visible destruction and operational decline. Rockets from Lebanon continued to strike Haifa and northern areas, with additional launches toward Netanya and areas north of Tel Aviv, while ground clashes were reported in southern Lebanon towns such as Shama.
Across the wider region, attacks continued simultaneously, including drone strikes on American installations, and ongoing Iraqi resistance operations exceeding multiple strikes in one cycle. Casualties and damage continue to rise, with over 260 Israeli soldiers reported wounded since the southern Lebanon front began, alongside illegally settled zionists' casualties and infrastructure damage across multiple cities.
