Following what it described as the hostile use of regional air bases by the United States, the IRGC Aerospace Force, with support from the IRGC Navy, carried out a special joint missile and drone operation as part of Wave 84 of Operation Promised Truth 4, under the code “Ya Khayr al-Raziqin”, dedicated to the martyrs of the national broadcasting organization and its workers.

During the operation, after neutralizing missile defense systems, solid- and liquid-fuel missiles penetrated Al-Kharj Air Base, a key location for aerial refueling and support fleets, which was then targeted by intense missile and drone strikes.

As a result, several large and heavy aerial refueling and support aircraft were destroyed or severely damaged.

IRGC naval and aerospace forces stated that they will continue to defend positions in the Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf, while maintaining offensive operations against enemy centers in the region.
