Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a congratulatory message to the Iranian leadership and people on the occasion of Nowruz, reaffirming the strength of relations between Moscow and Tehran under current circumstances.

The Kremlin reported that Putin addressed his congratulations to the Leader of the Revolution of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Majtaba Khamenei, and to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on this occasion.

In his message, Putin emphasized that Russia will remain a “loyal friend and reliable partner” for Iran, expressing Moscow’s support for the Iranian people in facing current challenges and wishing them success in overcoming difficult circumstances.
