🇮🇷: 🇪🇬 | Critical Question from Grand Ayatullah Faazil Lankarani to Al-Azhar of Egypt:

Ayatullah Mohammad-Javad Faazil Lankarani, a marja' of the Qom Seminary, in a statement condemned the recent position of Al-Azhar of Egypt and criticized the institution’s indifference to the martyrdom of Ayatollah Khamenei and the cooperation of some regional governments with the forces of disbelief and arrogance.

The statement from the Head of the Fiqh Center of the Imams (A) reads:

“I cannot accept that this institution, with its scholarly background and freedom, would issue such a statement. Al-Azhar must answer why the so-called Islamic governments in the region have placed their land and airspace at the disposal of disbelief and Zionism.”

“The numerous verses of the Quran forbidding submission to disbelievers and Jews, and the agreed-upon Islamic jurisprudential principles, must not be forgotten. Fiqh books explicitly state that Muslims who assist disbelievers to succeed against another group of Muslims take on the ruling of the disbelievers themselves.”

“After facing attacks through these treacherous regional governments, Iran has the right to defend the lives, blood, and borders of Muslims in this country. It is regrettable that after the martyrdom of Iran’s leader, no response was shown by this institution.”

The Head of the Fiqh Center concluded by stressing that Islamic scholars worldwide must act according to their religious and legal duty and should not let their positions be dictated by the approval of the leaders of disbelief and arrogance.

Following the criminal attacks by the United States and the Zionist regime on our country, the Shahid Ahmadi Roshan Natanz enrichment complex was targeted again this morning.
