Just minutes before the meeting began, we were sitting in a quiet space waiting, when the time for Maghrib and Isha prayers arrived.

He, who always insisted on performing prayers at their appointed times, immediately prepared for prayer and, in that formal setting, with remarkable calm, stood in worship. That moment was so meaningful to me that I instinctively felt it needed to be captured, even though I never imagined that one day these images would be shared after his martyrdom as a memory of such a great soul.

Performing prayers on time was not just a habit for him; it was a deep conviction. I had observed this trait repeatedly in both his personal and public life.

The last time I had the honor of praying alongside him was on the sixth day of the holy month of Ramadan this year in Tehran. We had a warm conversation for over two hours, and when the prayer time arrived, he immediately stood. With his usual humility, he offered that I lead the prayer, and I jokingly replied, “Leading the prayer behind a martyr brings greater reward.” His calm and meaningful smile is still alive in my memory.

Another memory goes back many years, to the 15th of Bahman, 1391 (February 2013), in the Iranian Parliament—a day remembered in the country’s political history as “Black Sunday of the Parliament.” It was an unprecedented and tense session, where issues were being raised regarding his family, closely followed by public opinion.

Despite such a heavy and decisive atmosphere, he managed the session with unparalleled composure. As the call to prayer approached, I suggested that perhaps the session should continue to reach its final conclusions.

But he, with his usual calm, said:
“Let us first perform our prayer and see what Allah decrees; let us not miss the prayer at its appointed time.”

These are only glimpses of the memories that are etched in my heart and mind of that great man—a man who intertwined politics with spirituality, and responsibility with servitude.

Today, these images are not just a moment; they are a sign of a way of life; a life in which, even in the most important formal meetings, remembrance of Allah is prioritized.

May his memory be honored, his path followed, and his noble soul rest in the mercy and peace of Allah.

🔍 | Security authorities in Iran have arrested dozens of suspected agents accused of sending photos and sensitive data to support the US‑Israeli aggression, including in Alborz Province where 41 individuals were detained on such charges amid a wider nationwide crackdown on enemies' informants.

Separately, Iran executed three individuals in Qom who were convicted of killing two police officers during protests in January, with the judiciary saying their actions were carried out in favor of foreign adversaries and that the Supreme Court upheld the death sentences before the executions were carried out.

🔍 | Arrest of 97 traitorous related to the Zionist regime and killing of a Notorious Thug:

The Ministry of Intelligence announced that 97 traitorous elements, who intended to create chaos and kill people under the guidance of the American-Zionist enemy on Wednesday, were identified and arrested along with their firearms and ammunition.

Additionally, five armed mercenary cells of the enemy were located and dismantled in Khuzestan province, where ten powerful homemade bombs, two Kalashnikov rifles, and large quantities of explosives were seized.

In a joint operation by the Intelligence Department of Sistan and Baluchestan, Quds Force, and NAJA, 13 spies in the southeast were arrested, and the notorious terrorist cell led by Nematollah Shahbakhsh, also known as Jamuk, was destroyed.

The Ministry emphasized that these decisive operations against traitorous elements and American-Zionist mercenaries were carried out in memory of Martyr Intelligence Minister Shaheed Hujjat al-Islam Sayyid Ismail Khatib. The anonymous soldiers of Imam Zaman (A) will confront enemy agents even more firmly in the future.

The Army’s Public Relations announced in Statement No. 35 that, since dawn today, and in retaliation for the blood of the heroes of the destroyer Dena and Martyr Hujjat al-Islam Ismail Khatib, Minister of Intelligence, the Ministry of Homeland Security of the Zionist enemy in occupied Jerusalem, the “Channel 13” network in Tel Aviv, and the building and facilities of the Zionist Ground Forces unit in the “Ar’ar” barracks were targeted using Army drones.

According to the statement, the Ministry of Homeland Security (or National Security) of the Zionist enemy is the heart of crisis management, and Channel 13 is one of the most important commercial and news networks, playing a central role in psychological operations against Iran, including selective coverage of Iran’s achievements and the Resistance front.

The Ar’ar barracks, the statement added, are strategically located, serving as the enemy’s “eye” near the Lebanese and Syrian borders, and are considered one of the main headquarters of the Zionist Ground Forces units.

The Army further noted that this round of attacks used the latest batch of suicide drones.

The planning, creativity, and transformative leadership of this devoted commander during his tenure as head of the Basij Mostazafan contributed unparalleled innovations in strategic and operational fields, enhancing the status of this people’s organization and improving its service to the deprived and oppressed, especially during the most critical historical moments and fields of national and revolutionary need. These selfless efforts have left an enduring and inspirational mark on the proud history of the Basij and IRGC.

His spirit of sacrifice, humility, sincerity, steadfastness in action, and deep commitment to the ideals of Islam and the Revolution is a precious legacy that will remain forever in the historical memory of the Iranian nation, particularly among the guards of the Revolution and the youth of the martyr-producing region of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari.
