🟧 | A senior IRGC official: Iran’s next-generation missiles are on the way

A senior official in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) reported that missiles dating back to the 2010s have been used in the past seven days of attacks against U.S. and Zionist regime positions in the region.

The official emphasized that, given expectations of a prolonged war, the missiles employed so far in this campaign are mostly from 2012, 2013, and 2014, and that Iran has, in most cases, not yet used its next-generation missiles.

He explained the dynamism of the country’s defense industry, noting that the design and production cycle in missile assembly lines has always been active, and the construction of various missile systems continues simultaneously and continuously.

Following the suspicious and ambiguous drone attack yesterday on the Nakhchivan regional airport, Baku officials hastily pointed fingers at Tehran. However, live footage and field reports from Baku TV, a major media outlet close to the Azerbaijani government, showed the wreckage and debris of the destroyed drones at Nakhchivan airport, providing irrefutable and embarrassing evidence.

As clearly visible in high-quality images released by the network itself, critical parts of the drones were engraved with the words “İstehsalat Birliyi” (meaning Production Union in Azerbaijani).

This major and historic media blunder clearly proves that the unmanned aerial vehicles used in this fabricated attack were originally produced by Azerbaijan’s own military industry and launched from within the country.

—In the past three hours, multiple attacks were carried out against occupation forces and their US asset. Two barrages of missiles accompanied by drones from Iran and two separate launches from Hezbollah targeted strategic sites in the region. The Iranian forces carried out drone strikes against the headquarters of Iranian opposition parties in the Dekla area of Erbil province and launched suicide drone attacks on US bases in Kuwait. Israeli residents in Tel Aviv and surrounding cities reported severe explosions shaking homes due to the latest rocket barrage. Iranian defenses intercepted and destroyed an MQ-9 drone at Shirin Palace, while air defenses in Bahrain were activated following explosions over Manama.

An Iranian official issued a warning to the government of the Kurdistan region of Iraq, stating that so far the attacks have only targeted American and Israeli bases and separatist groups, but if these groups or regime elements continue their presence, planning, or attempt to enter the borders of the Islamic Republic, all facilities in the Kurdistan region of Iraq, serving as rear bases, will be extensively targeted. Additionally, a drone strike targeted a camp belonging to the Iranian Kurdish opposition in Iraq’s Kurdistan Region, and Iranian air defenses shot down an Israeli “Heron” drone over Isfahan.
