According to various reports and statements from Ayatollah Marvi, the custodian of the shrine of Imam Ali Ridha (A), Imam Khamenei’s (r) eldest daughter, Sayyida Bushra Husayni Khamenei, lived in a house near Imam Khamenei’s (r) residence and had devoted her entire life to serving her parents. Imam Khamenei (r) told his daughter that the situation was dangerous and advised her not to stay there, but she refused to leave and ultimately attained martyrdom alongside her father.

• For four to five years, Imam Khamenei’s (r) wife had been ill and several times was close to death, but Allah protected her so that she would depart this world through martyrdom. She had repeatedly expressed her desire for martyrdom.

• When the situation became critical, the daughters-in-law and granddaughters also came to serve Imam Khamenei (r) and his wife. As a result, the women present in Imam Khamenei’s (r) household attained martyrdom.
