Zahra Mohammadi Golpayegani (r) was the youngest granddaughter of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ali Khamenei. Fourteen-month-old Zahra received this Qur’an as a gift from her grandfather on 29 February 2025.
On 28 February 2026, she was martyred alongside Imam Ali Khamenei (r). This Qur’an awas found at the place of their martyrdom. Imam Khamenei (r) wrote the following at the beginning of this gifted Qur’an for his granddaughter:
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The birth of the light of my eyes, Zahra Mohammadi, on 19 December 2024, corresponding to 16 Jumada al-Thani 1446. I ask the Allah for the health, well-being, and happiness of this beautiful little flower. May her life be long and her prosperity enduring.
