In response to the criminal Israeli aggression that targeted dozens of Lebanese cities and towns, including the southern suburbs of Beirut, and resulted in the martyrdom of dozens of men, women, and children, the injury of scores of others, the destruction of civilian buildings and infrastructure, and the terrorizing and displacement of innocent civilians from their homes, the Islamic Resistance launched a series of drone attacks at 5:00 am on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, targeting the radar and control rooms of the Ramat David Air Base in northern occupied Palestine.

The Islamic Resistance is committed to defending its land and people, particularly as the Israeli enemy exceeds all limits with its criminal actions. Its response was directed at military targets, unlike the enemy’s targeting of civilians. This is the least that the public can expect to prevent the enemy from pursuing its dangerous objectives against Lebanon as a state, its people, and its resistance.

🇱🇧 | In response to the statement made by Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam following the emergency cabinet session at Baabda Palace, the head of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc, MP Mohammad Raad, issues the following statement:

"We understand the Lebanese government’s inability in the face of the brutal Zionist enemy, which violates national sovereignty, occupies land, and poses a continuous threat to the country’s security and stability. We also understand its right to decide matters of war and peace, as well as its failure to implement such decisions and impose them on the enemy that is violating national peace and persisting in its aggressive war against Lebanon and its people.

However, in light of this clear inability and failure, we see no justification for Prime Minister Salam and his government to take reckless decisions against Lebanese citizens who reject the occupation and accuse them of breaching a peace that the enemy itself has denied and refused to uphold for a year and four months.

During this time, it has imposed a daily state of war on both the government and the people of Lebanon, while the government has been unable to halt its ongoing attacks or even leverage what it claims are Lebanon’s international friendships to compel the enemy to stop its war against our country.

The Lebanese were expecting a decision to ban the aggression, but instead they were faced with a decision to ban the rejection of aggression.

Hezbollah’s response to the Zionist persistence in attacking the free and honorable people and their allies in Lebanon and the region is nothing more than a signal rejecting the path of submission and the deception of the Lebanese people into believing that reconciling with the enemy and submitting to its conditions is the only available path to achieving the illusory Lebanese security and peace."
