In revenge for the pure blood of the leader of the Muslims, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Imam Sayyid Ali al-Husayni Khamenei, may his sacred soul be protected, who was unjustly and treacherously shed by the criminal Zionist enemy, and in defense of Lebanon and its people, and within the framework of responding to repeated Israeli aggressions, the Islamic Resistance targeted, in the middle of the night between Sunday and Monday, 2 March 2026, a salvo of precision missiles and a squadron of drones at the Mishmar HaCarmel missile defense site of the Israeli enemy army south of the occupied city of Haifa.

The leadership of the Resistance has always affirmed that the continuation of Israeli attacks and the assassination of our leaders, youth, and people gives us the right to defend and respond at the appropriate time and place.

The Israeli enemy cannot continue its aggression, which has lasted for fifteen months, without facing a warning response to stop this aggression and withdraw from the occupied Lebanese territories.

This response is a legitimate defensive action, and the responsible parties must put an end to the Israeli-American aggression against Lebanon.

Following the statement of Hezbollah, IOF started attacking Beirut and its southern suburbs, including the Dahieh district, Al-Jamous, Haret Hreik, and areas near Beirut International Airport. These strikes came after Hezbollah claimed responsibility for missile and drone attacks on Israeli sites in retaliation for the martyrdom of Imam Khamenei (r).

Intense raids also targeted Harouf, Al Nabatieh, and numerous villages were warned for evacuation by IOF across southern Lebanon and the Bekaa region, including Sarifa, Ma’roub, Salaa (Sour), Deir al-Asha’ir, Bafliya, Barish, Arzoun, Qulayyah, Ash-Shahabiyya (Tair Zbina), Dardghia, Bastiat, Arab Salim, Hosh al-Rifqa, Yahmur (Bekaa Ouest), Maydoun, Dalafeh, Ain Qana, Kanisa, Al-Mansouri (Sour), Majdal Zoun, Mazraat Bayt Siad, Jabal al-Butm, Zibqin, As-Sama’iya, Aytit, Qana, Al-Biyad (Sour), Deir ’Ammis, Aytat al-Jabal (Al-Zut), Hanin (Bint Jbeil), Haris, Hadatha, Mahrouna, Beit Lif, Yatar (Bint Jbeil), Shakra, Hula, Baraashit, Bint Jbeil, Jmayjmeh, Aitarun, Safd Al-Batiikh, Al-Bazouriyeh, Ainatha, Hanaweyya, Janata, Burj Al-Shamali, Ma’raka, Sadiqin, Al-Majdal, Wadi Jilo, Darwais (Baalbek), and Mays Al-Jabal.

The attacks have caused casualties and widespread destruction, leaving large areas heavily damaged. The Israeli military warned residents to stay at least one kilometer away from evacuated villages and cautioned that anyone attempting to locate Hezbollah elements, institutions, or combat vehicles is in danger.
