We mourn the martyred Imam Ali Khamenei, Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, and his fellow martyred leaders.

Today, the honorable Sayyid Imam Ali Khamenei falls as a martyr in one of the clearest battles of the Ummah in its banner and objectives against the coming Zionist-American project aimed at subjugating and humiliating us, which seeks to turn our nation into slaves for its arrogant agenda. While submissive countries sought the protection of the American devil, the martyred Sayyid always stood on the front lines with his voice and resolve, shouting in the darkness of the Arab and Islamic night: “Death to the Great Satan,” affirming that America is not a fate before which we will ever bow.

The martyred Imam lived courageously and with dignity in his positions and insistence on the right of the Ummah to possess power, weapons, and technology, enabling it to stand strong against the flood of evil led by the devils of this era, criminals Trump and Netanyahu. We also remember his firm stance on Palestine, supporting its resistance, supplying it with weapons, and accompanying all the battles and campaigns undertaken by our valiant Palestinian resistance. We have lost a man who restored to Islam its backbone—jihad and martyrdom—and the ability to influence and confront the tyrants of the era.

The martyred Imam, leader of the blessed Islamic Revolution, passed away during the month of the Qur’an and jihad, the blessed month of Ramadan, raising the banner: “If the religion of Muhammad cannot be established except by my killing, then O swords, take me,” joining the radiant caravan of martyrs following in the footsteps of the Prophets, the truthful, the great Imams, and the martyred leaders in Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen, Syria, and Iran, after fulfilling his trust and duty with righteous words, firm stances, speaking truth, and sincere unity in the face of the overwhelming forces of falsehood in the centrality and urgent priority of the Palestinian cause as the spearhead against the Western project targeting our Ummah.

The assassination of leaders is a barren approach whose failure has been proven by reality; it does not stop the free from continuing their resistance against aggression. The arrogant attempt to divert the path and drag the Ummah into the Zionist-American timeline is futile. Iran today is stronger and more resilient after the assassination of its leaders in the past and now, as are the Palestinian, Lebanese, Yemeni, and Iraqi resistance movements, which continue their journey in opposing the faces of the aggressors despite the harshness of the period. Therefore, we affirm the right of the Islamic Republic to respond to this heinous crime in proportion to its magnitude.

Let the oppressive America and the entire West know that illusions of power and arrogance do not shape the truths of history, nor do they take away the positions of the free. Their attempt to settle the Palestinian issue in favor of the Zionist occupier will not bring security or peace; it will instead intensify the confrontation until the balance of justice is restored and rights are returned to their owners, no matter the cost. The future of our Ummah and Palestine will remain in our rifles, not in normalization or submission.

With profound grief and sorrow, the great commander of the Islamic Ummah, the exalted leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Imam Khamenei (r), was martyred by the most wicked of the world’s oppressors. This event represents the greatest trial for the contemporary Islamic world. The assassination of the highest political authority of the Islamic Republic of Iran, a prominent leader and religious authority of the Shi’a world, by the US-Zionist axis, is considered an open act of war against Muslims, especially Shi’a across the globe.

Over 37 years of wise guidance and leadership, the late martyr continued the luminous path of Imam Khomeini (r) with steadfastness and authority, turning Iran into a center of anti-arrogance and independence. This great and divinely guided leader, relying on the will and voice of the people, brought honor and dignity to the Iranian nation and stood as a pillar against the enemies of Islam and Iran.

His foresight, steadfastness against oppression, attachment to Imam Khomeini and the ideals of the Islamic Revolution, compassion, knowledge, patience, sincerity, and pure faith in Allah have left a lasting and historic legacy alongside Imam Khomeini (r). Indeed, martyrdom in the battle against the enemies of Islam was the only fitting honor for Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei.

The Islamic Republic of Iran considers avenging this historic crime a duty and legitimate right, and will pursue this responsibility with full capacity and determination.

I extend my condolences once again to the Islamic Ummah, the noble nation of Iran, and all followers and supporters of this eternal leader. I emphasize our unwavering resolve and determination to continue the path of this great man of history, and I pray to Allah for increasing unity and cooperation among officials and the Iranian people to realize the lofty ideals of the Islamic Revolution and to expand justice and freedom in society.
