To the wise and noble nation of Iran:
Along with expressing condolences on the martyrdom of the steadfast, courageous, insightful, and tireless leader of Iran and the Islamic world, Ayatollah al-Uzma Imam Khamenei (may Allah reward him), it is reported that yesterday a number of brave and valiant commanders of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran were martyred in a brutal attack by the most evil regimes, criminals, and corrupt forces in the world—namely criminal America and the Zionist regime.
Among those martyred were:
• Martyr Lieutenant General Seyyed Abdolrahim Mousavi, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces
• Martyr Major General Mohammad Pakpour, Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps
• Martyr Admiral Ali Shamkhani, Advisor to the Supreme Commander and Secretary of the Defense Council

“And give glad tidings to the patient, who, when a calamity strikes them, say, Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return”
The great Ummah of Islam, the truth-seekers of the world, and the noble and powerful nation of Iran! Once again, the hand of the most wicked enemies of humanity emerged from the sleeve of disbelief, and the wise leader of the Revolution and the guide of the struggle against global arrogance was granted the honor of martyrdom along the luminous path of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
A vigilant and brave leadership who, throughout his life, resisted all storms, difficulties, and pressures in the path of the Islamic Revolution and achieved his long-cherished wish, joining the ranks of martyrs and the leader of martyrs; “Among them are those who have fulfilled their mission, and among them are those who await.”
Although this loss is extremely heavy, history of Islam testifies that struggle in the path of truth has always been watered with the blood of martyrs, and such martyrdoms are the price of dignity, independence, and the prelude to the emergence of the Imam Mahdi (may our souls be sacrificed for him).

2. As the Holy Quran warns about the absence of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)—(“Muhammad is no more than a messenger; the messengers before him have passed away. So if he dies or is killed, will you turn back on your heels? And whoever turns back on his heels, Allah will not harm them at all”)—the martyrdom of servants of religion must not cause the slightest faltering in determination. This revolution is a blessed tree not dependent on one person, and by God’s grace and adherence to “Indeed, Allah is with the righteous”, the flag of this movement will never fall, God willing.
3. Now is the time for the heavy responsibility of the Assembly of Experts of Leadership to act immediately and decisively according to the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran, as their decision is legally and religiously final.
4. All government forces and officials must act with renewed motivation and smarter planning, fulfilling their duties designed for such a day, ensuring the country’s affairs continue without disruption and preventing any disturbance in the lives of the people and public order.
5. We are in the midst of an all-out war. The powerful military and law enforcement forces, who are the source of public confidence, must decisively and without leniency crush every enemy plot and disruption and counter them wisely until complete elimination.
