🟨 | Statement issued by Hezbollah regarding the U.S.–Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran:

Hezbollah condemns the treacherous U.S.–Israeli aggression that targeted the Islamic Republic in Iran after months of Zionist and American threats aimed at subjugating the Islamic Republic, forcing it to surrender, and depriving it of its natural and legitimate right to possess peaceful nuclear capability and to develop its defensive missile capabilities, like other countries of the world.

This new aggression, which constitutes a blatant violation of international law and the Charter of the United Nations, is a continuation of the arrogance and domination practiced by the U.S. administration and the criminal Zionist entity in our region, in a desperate attempt to destabilize it, subjugate its peoples, and force them to accept projects of hegemony and occupation.

What is happening today, after the failure of the twelve-day war launched by the Israeli enemy with direct American participation, confirms that the issue was never the nuclear program. Rather, it lies in rejecting the existence of a strong state in the region that relies on itself, upholds its sovereignty and independent national decision, protects its resources, develops its capabilities, refuses to join the system of American dependency, supports free and oppressed peoples in the world, and stands as a firm barrier against Zionist-American plans in the region. Instead, they want weak, exhausted entities that are easy to control and dominate, paving the way for the implementation of their occupation and colonial projects.

This aggression will only make the Islamic Republic of Iran and its people stronger, more steadfast, and more determined to uphold their legitimate rights. Over decades of sanctions, threats, and attacks, it has proven itself to be a strong and resilient state that will not surrender, backed by a proud people who stand united in defense of their dignity and sovereignty.

Hezbollah, while declaring its full solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran, its leadership and its people, calls on the countries and peoples of the region to stand against this aggressive plan and to recognize its danger, as its grave consequences will affect everyone without exception if it is left unchallenged. We are confident that the American and Israeli enemy will receive a major blow and will reap nothing but failure from its criminal and tyrannical aggression.
