Follow the Sunnah and the Prophet (S), His Ahlulbayt (A), and the noble companions (R). Imam Ali (A) knew how to prepare kneaded dough and make bread, and he used to cook with Sayyidah Fatima (S). Likewise, men must learn the skills of daily sustenance, supporting their families not only through provision but also through hands-on involvement. Balancing work outside the home with domestic duties is part of being responsible and compassionate. It ensures that the household runs smoothly and that women are not overburdened. However, the wife will not be compelled or forced to cook, and the husband will be obliged to bring her cooked food if she demands it. This balance ensures respect, mutual support, and adherence to the principles of justice and care in the household.

It is also important to note that historically, in many Muslim societies, family cooperation was essential for survival. Men and women shared duties according to their circumstances, and households functioned as integrated units. Women often managed domestic tasks while also contributing to family income through trade, craft, or agriculture.

A call from the Israeli army before the raid… a terrifying story from southern Lebanon.

Before he was targeted yesterday evening in the town of Talouseh, 62-year-old Ahmed Termos was on a family visit, sitting with his wife and her brother, while two Israeli planes flew at very low altitude, according to journalist Radwan Mortada.

The story recounts: “Ahmed’s phone rang. A cold, clear voice asked: ‘Is this Ahmed Termos?’ He replied yes. The caller said: ‘We have Ahmed Termos. Do you want to die with those with you or alone?’ He immediately answered: ‘Alone.’”

According to the account, Ahmed hung up the phone, his expression changed. His brother-in-law asked: “What happened, Ahmed?” Calmly and decisively, he said: “It’s the Israelis. Get up and leave. They’re saying either you die with me or I die alone.”
