Everything we had heard about their corruption is one side, and the case of this infamous and corrupt island is the other side. These incidents truly reflect Western civilization. When we speak about Western civilization and Western liberal democracy, this is what we mean. They have been moving for two, three hundred years, and the result is something like this. This island is just one example; there are many similar cases. Just as this one, which was once hidden, has now been exposed, many other things will also come to light.

Regarding America, the current government propaganda, the press, and Zionist media active in America are almost entirely threatening Iran these days. They threaten, saying “we will do this, we will do that.” You people of Tabriz, and much of the Iranian nation, on the 22nd of Bahman, responded to these threats and showed that these threats have no effect. In fact, threats have the opposite effect; they create motivation. The massive presence of the people in the 22nd of Bahman rally answered many of these meaningless statements made by current U.S. leaders.

Even they themselves know the truth. Americans who constantly threaten, claiming war will happen, etc., know that they cannot withstand these claims; their economic problems, political problems, and international credibility do not allow them to face such resistance. They know that if they make a mistake, the future consequences will be theirs.

One of the signs of the decline of the corrupt and oppressive American empire is their illogical behavior. They are illogical. When a government acts, there should be logic behind it; they have none. One of their illogical actions is their interference in our domestic affairs. First, they want to interfere in Iran’s internal matters. One of the domestic issues of great importance to us is our weapons. We must possess deterrent weapons. A country without deterrent weapons will be crushed under the feet of its enemies. Deterrent weapons are essential for our nation. Americans unnecessarily interfere in this matter, saying “you may have missiles this way or that way, with this range, not more than that.” What business is it of yours? It concerns the Iranian nation.

Or take the matter of the peaceful nuclear industry. The peaceful nuclear industry is not for war; it is for running the country, for agriculture, for healthcare, for energy, and for everything dependent on energy. The Iranian nation is carrying out its work; what business is it of yours? What right do you have? When you say “it is our undeniable right,” this is also included in the regulations of the International Atomic Energy Agency; every country has the right to possess nuclear facilities within its borders, including enrichment facilities. This is part of the nation’s rights. Why do Americans interfere? This shows the disorder and lack of logical thinking among America’s current and past leaders. Why interfere? What is even more absurd is that they interfere and then say, “Let us negotiate about your nuclear energy, and the result of the negotiation should be that you do not have this energy!” If a negotiation is really to take place, which it should not, determining the result beforehand is a wrong and foolish act. You say, “let us discuss and reach an agreement on this topic,” but why do you predetermine the result? They say, “We must reach this agreement!” This is foolish. Such foolishness is being done by U.S. presidents, some senators, and other officials.

They do not realize that the path is a dead end for them. The U.S. president repeatedly says that our army is the strongest in the world. The strongest army in the world can sometimes be struck so hard that it cannot rise! They constantly say, “We have sent a warship toward Iran.” Very well, a warship is indeed a dangerous machine, but even more dangerous than the warship is the weapon that can sink it to the bottom of the sea.

The U.S. president recently said that for 47 years, America has not been able to destroy the Islamic Republic.

The Islamic Republic means a living nation. The Islamic Republic is not a government separate from the people. The Islamic Republic is the Iranian nation: a steadfast, strong nation, a nation ready to work, struggle, and strive for its progress, and praise be to Allah, it has advanced in these 47 years. The day the Islamic Republic was a small sapling, you could not uproot it; today, praise be to Allah, the Islamic Republic is a tall and fruitful blessed tree.

In conclusion, I want to tell the dear government officials that whatever effort they are making, they must double it, they must multiply it. We have many resources; the current inflation in the country is illogical; the collapse of the national currency to this extent is illogical. These must be corrected, and, God willing, they will be corrected. Officials have started the work; they must continue it seriously, carefully, and considering all aspects to resolve domestic problems and stabilize the business environment.

If there is any threat, the systems to neutralize it also exist, by Allah’s grace. People should do their work, live their lives, study, and carry out business and trade without worry. The country must have an environment of calm, self-confidence, and tranquility; for Allah sent His tranquility upon His Messenger and upon the believers. Allah, by His grace, will bestow peace and assurance on every individual and will enable the officials to fulfill their responsibilities.

I welcome the families of the dear martyrs who have traveled this long path to be present. May Allah grant success to all of them and unite these dear martyrs with the Prophet.

His excellence also clarified the stance on the nuclear program and negotiations. He predicted that any negotiations with predetermined outcomes are meaningless and foolish. He boldly emphasized that the nuclear program will remain for peaceful, civilian purposes and not for war, as some suspect. At the same time, he confirmed that U.S. threats are significant, but the Iranian response is capable and prepared. He hinted at certain advanced weapons with precision, including capabilities that could even sink warships. He often emphasized that slapping the so-called “most powerful army in the world” and forcing it to retreat is historically impossible, yet through Iran’s deterrent capabilities, such outcomes are achievable, even in the current global theater and in the past fifty years.
