More than 3,000 soldiers hold German nationality, and a similar number hold Ukrainian nationality. In addition, more than 1,000 soldiers each hold British, Romanian, Polish, Ethiopian, and Canadian nationalities.

A total of 4,440 soldiers hold two foreign nationalities in addition to Israeli nationality, while 162 soldiers hold three foreign nationalities.

The Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation Kan reported that the government has approved a proposal submitted by Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, Justice Minister Yariv Levin, and Defense Minister Israel Katz to reopen land registration procedures in the occupied West Bank for the first time since 1967. The move would allow large areas to be registered as “state land” in the name of the state.

The decision grants expanded authority to the Justice Ministry’s Land Settlement Authority, along with additional budgets and personnel, to review ownership claims and carry out registration processes. Officials say the step aims to resolve disputes and facilitate infrastructure development, presenting it as a response to what they describe as illegal efforts by the Palestinian Authority to register land in Area C.

🇮🇷 | Spokesperson for the Iranian National Security Committee Ebrahim Razai said that during the latest round of negotiations in Geneva there was no discussion about stopping or giving up uranium enrichment, and no intention to remove Iran’s nuclear stockpiles from the country. Razai said Iran views “the regime in Israel as the central problem in the region” and argued that its threats should be addressed outside the current negotiations, within a separate regional framework aimed at ensuring development, calm and shared interests.
