The Iranian nation has stood firm. The symbol of this steadfastness is the 22nd of Bahman. This march is unparalleled in the world. We know of no other country where, year after year and after so many decades, the day of independence and the national day is marked by such massive crowds across the entire country, allowing the people to demonstrate themselves in this way. Today, the Iranian nation shows itself by marching in the streets, and this forces those who harbor greed toward Islamic Iran, the Islamic Republic, and the interests of this nation to retreat.

National power is linked more to the will and steadfastness of nations than to missiles and aircraft. By the grace of Allah, you have shown steadfastness and demonstrated your will. Show it again in various situations. Disappoint the enemy. As long as the enemy is not disappointed, a nation will remain exposed to harassment and pressure. The enemy must be disappointed.

The enemy’s disappointment comes from your unity, from the power of your thought and will, from your motivation, and from steadfastness in the face of the enemy’s temptations. These are what constitute national power.

Allah willing, our youth will advance further and take action in various fields, in science, in practice, in piety and ethics, and in material and spiritual progress, creating pride for the country. The 22nd of Bahman is the manifestation of all these. Everyone appears in the streets, chants slogans, states the truths, declares their solidarity, and proclaims their loyalty to the Islamic Republic of Iran.

We hope, Allah willing, that this 22nd of Bahman, like all those of previous years, will further enhance and magnify the grandeur of the Iranian nation, and will compel other nations, governments, powers, and others to show humility and deference before the Iranian nation, and Allah willing, it will be so.
