🇮🇷 | Seizure of Iranian oil tankers by India:

The Indian Coast Guard has seized three Iranian oil tankers near Mumbai, targeting vessels linked to the Islamic Republic of Iran and listed under U.S. sanctions, with Indian authorities citing alleged oil smuggling and discounted sales in international waters. Iranian officials have issued no formal response, but sources within Iran’s Ministry of Petroleum expect the case to follow past precedents, including a similar seizure in Malaysia, and anticipate the release of the tankers and the continuation of Iranian oil shipments after limited legal and diplomatic friction.

🇮🇷 | Iran rejects reliance on negotiations:

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that the future of negotiations remains uncertain, stressing that Tehran does not trust the opposing side and considers deception and bad faith a real possibility. He emphasized that Iran’s armed forces, government, and institutions must operate as if no talks exist, warning against tying national decision-making to negotiations. Dr. Araghchi underlined that Iran’s governance and strategic posture will continue independently of any agreement, whether talks succeed or collapse. "We refused the US request for CENTCOM Commander Brad Cooper to participate in the talks in Oman on Friday, we said we do not accept the presence of a military figure in the negotiation process." He added.
