With profound sorrow and grief, and in submission to Allah’s decree, wisdom, and will, Hezbollah mourns the passing of the virtuous educator, the righteous servant, and the patient and faithful believer, Sayyid al-Hajj Abdul Karim Nasrallah, father of the Master of the Martyrs of the Ummah, His Eminence the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, who passed away this morning after a lifetime spent in devotion, patience, asceticism, and struggle.

By Allah’s grace, the late noble Sayyid was an embodiment of the good word and the blessed, deeply rooted and steadfast tree, which bore a lofty branch whose influence reached the conscience of the Islamic Ummah, spreading meanings of dignity, honor, victory, steadfastness, and sacrifice.

We extend our condolences to our Master, the Lord of the Age and Time (may Allah hasten his reappearance), to His Eminence Imam Khamenei (may his shadow endure), to His Eminence the Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassim, to the noble, sacrificing, and striving family, and to all those who love the Master of the Martyrs of the Ummah. We ask Almighty Allah to envelop him in His vast mercy, grant him a place in His spacious Paradise, and resurrect him alongside his pure forefathers, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and his family, the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).

• A drone strike reportedly hit a vehicle in the town of Dwayr (Duwayr), resulting in the martyrdom of a 9-year-old child. The condition of other family members remains unconfirmed.

• Earlier the same day, civilian engineering vehicles engaged in rubble clearance were reportedly targeted in Qanareet, following recent attacks in the area.

• Multiple empty or abandoned civilian buildings were reportedly demolished in several border towns.

• Overnight, residential structures were demolished in Markaba and Rabb Tlateen.

• A further drone strike occurred in Duwayr a few hours later, with one martyr reported.

• A separate drone strike took place the previous night in another location, with no reported casualties.

• Additional demolitions of civilian houses were reported in Aita al-Shaab.

• A drone strike in the Saksakieh area of southern Lebanon reportedly resulted in the martyrdom of one individual.

• Another drone strike reportedly targeted the Qlayleh area.

🇮🇷 | Ali Bagheri, Assistant for Political Affairs at Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, stated that Iran does not intend to transfer its enriched uranium to any country.

The statement followed remarks from the Russian presidency, which indicated that Russia was prepared to receive Iranian enriched uranium and transfer it outside Iran, while noting that current negotiations are not fundamentally focused on this issue.

The comments also come amid reports and leaks suggesting that Turkey has proposed mediating an arrangement involving the removal of approximately 400 kg of enriched uranium from Iran.

• Ali Hassan Saleh was born in the town of Brital, Beqaa, on March 1, 1963.

• He joined the Islamic Resistance in 1983 and served in various roles across multiple military specializations.

• In 1998, he was appointed deputy head of operations in the Central Military Unit and later assumed responsibility for the Mohri and Khiyam regions.

• In 2004, he assumed command of the Nasr Unit, and in 2016 took responsibility for military operations related to confronting Takfiri groups.

• He participated in and led several military operations before and after the 2000 withdrawal, including Operation Armati, Operation Ghajar, and the 2000 and 2006 capture operations.

• He completed multiple military and leadership training courses.

• He died on February 2, 2026, following a period of illness.

He was an example of a patient and pious father and a living witness to the school of jihad and resistance that produced leaders and martyrs.

As the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine presents its condolences to Hezbollah’s leadership and to the family of the deceased great man, it confirms that his departure will only increase our determination to continue on our path.

We renew our pledge to continue on this path until we achieve all our goals.
