He was a patient and dignified man, a man of determination, endurance, and long-lasting hope. He lived a life marked by humility, faith, and quiet strength, bearing immense personal loss with unwavering belief in Allah’s wisdom. His steadfast presence, especially during the funeral of his son, remains etched in our memory as a source of strength, reassurance, and encouragement for the Ummah in moments of profound grief.
He passed away after a prolonged illness, enduring hardship with patience and trust in Allah.
It is also remembered that Nehdiyeh Safi al-Din, the mother of Sayyid Hasan Nasrallah, had passed away in May 2024, prior to the martyrdom of her son on 27 September of the same year. The Nasrallah family stands as a living testimony to sacrifice, perseverance, and steadfast faith.
On this painful occasion, all are invited to participate in the funeral procession of his pure body:

With profound sorrow and grief, and in submission to Allah’s decree, wisdom, and will, Hezbollah mourns the passing of the virtuous educator, the righteous servant, and the patient and faithful believer, Sayyid al-Hajj Abdul Karim Nasrallah, father of the Master of the Martyrs of the Ummah, His Eminence the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, who passed away this morning after a lifetime spent in devotion, patience, asceticism, and struggle.
