According to circulating information, Riyadh is mobilizing around 20,000 fighters from forces known as the “Nation’s Shield” in the Al-Wadiah and Al-Abr areas, sending a clear message that unilateral control over Hadramout and Al-Mahra crosses Saudi red lines, as these regions represent both strategic border depth and key security and economic pillars in any Saudi vision for Yemen’s future. On the other hand, the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council continues to capitalize on its rapid eastward military advance to raise its political demands, placing the project of re-dividing Yemen into two states at the top of its priorities. 🇵🇸 | Satellite images reveal an expansion of Israeli military infrastructure inside Gaza after the ceasefire, according to an investigation by Drop Site News in collaboration with Forensic Architecture, which documents an acceleration in the construction and consolidation of Israeli military sites inside the Gaza Strip since the ceasefire of October 10, 2025. Based on satellite image analysis, the investigation shows the creation of new military sites, the expansion of existing ones, and the excavation and rerouting of military roads, alongside the continued demolition of Palestinian properties, particularly in southern Gaza and eastern Khan Yunis. Israel is reported to currently maintain 48 military sites east of the so called Yellow Line, connected by a growing network of military roads linking sites inside Gaza with Israeli infrastructure outside the Strip, while 13 new military sites were established after the ceasefire, mainly along the Yellow Line, eastern Khan Yunis, and border areas. Between October 10 and December 2, 2025, the investigation observes rapid growth in the infrastructure of existing sites and an expansion of road networks, including ongoing work begun in September to redirect the Magen Oz corridor, a 15 kilometer military road, to fall fully within Israeli control zones. In parallel, the investigation documents systematic destruction of Palestinian property, especially in eastern Khan Yunis, including areas not previously destroyed, now overlaid with new roads and military sites. The Yellow Line emerges as a central mechanism of control, with the investigation noting that despite maps suggesting Israeli withdrawal to 53 to 58 percent of Gaza, actual control has expanded, marked by the placement of at least 27 yellow control squares west of the mapped Yellow Line. In Jabalia, the investigation presents a case study of a new military site established after dismantling a densely populated tent area and demolishing surrounding buildings, featuring large berms measuring up to 75 by 65 meters, clearly visible in late November imagery. In southern Gaza, particularly Rafah and eastern Khan Yunis, areas still described as densely populated with private properties, demolition and road excavation reportedly continued after the ceasefire, with imagery showing observation equipment near borders and military and demolition vehicles linked to crossing and transfer points. Politically, the investigation contrasts these findings with point sixteen of Donald Trump’s twenty point plan, which claims Israel will not occupy or annex Gaza and will gradually withdraw, handing control to international stabilization forces, yet field evidence indicates further entrenchment east of the Yellow Line, suggesting no genuine intention of future pullout.
