On behalf of the Commander-in-Chief, the rank was presented to the martyr’s family by Major General Seyed Abdolrahim Mousavi, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces.

🇱🇧 | An explosion was heard on the outskirts of Aitaroun in south Lebanon as Israeli occupation forces fired illumination flares over the Mahafir Plain, while Israeli artillery shelled Aita al-Shaab and the area between Aita al-Shaab and Ramiya. An Israeli drone dropped a bomb on a house in Ramiya and later targeted a vehicle in al-Taybeh. In the Bekaa region, three Israeli airstrikes hit the outskirts of Zaarine–Hermel and the upper western mountain range toward Bouday, while a series of airstrikes struck the heights of Jabal al-Rihane, the Rihane Heights, and the Litani River bed on the outskirts of Zawtar al-Sharqiya. Eastern Mediterranean

• Greek media outlet Ta Nea reported that Greece is exploring closer military cooperation with Israel, drawing on Israeli preventive defense doctrines and shared strategic interests in the Eastern Mediterranean.

• Discussions are underway on forming a joint rapid reaction force of around 2,500 troops, composed of 1,000 Greek, 1,000 Israeli, and 500 Cypriot personnel, supported by Greek and Israeli air force squadrons and naval assets including frigates, submarines, and Israeli corvettes.

• The proposed force would be deployed across Rhodes or Karpathos, Cyprus, and Israel, with a mandate focused on protecting critical infrastructure such as pipelines, undersea electricity cables, and maritime routes.

Occupied Palestine – Gaza

• UNRWA reported that 16 Palestinians, including three children, have died in recent days due to heavy rainfall, extreme cold, and the collapse of buildings amid dire living conditions.

• Gaza’s Ministry of Health announced the death of infant Saeed Asaad Abdeen (one month old) due to a severe drop in temperature, raising the number of weather-related deaths to 13.

• The director of Al-Shifa Medical Complex warned that 55 percent of medicines are unavailable, stressing that children face simultaneous threats from military attacks, cold exposure, and disease.

• Medical authorities emphasized the urgent need for caravans and safe heating equipment as temperatures continue to fall.

Occupied Palestine – West Bank / Golan / Southern Syria

• Israeli occupation forces arrested Ali Musab Al-Bashir after raiding his home after midnight in the village of Hirran, south of Quneitra.

• Israeli forces opened fire toward residents in the town of Al-Muallaq in the Quneitra countryside.

Lebanon

• Israeli warplanes carried out airstrikes near the Bekaa Valley, reportedly targeting Hezbollah-linked infrastructure.

• Al-Mayadeen reported multiple Israeli raids on the Jarmak mountains, Mahmoudiyah area, and several locations in southern Lebanon and western Bekaa.

• Israeli drones were observed flying at low altitude over the southern suburbs.

Syria

• Armed clashes erupted between the Jordanian Army and armed elements near the Jordanian–Syrian border in Khirbet Awad, Sweida Governorate.

Iraq

• Iraq’s Counter-Terrorism Service announced the arrest of six suspected ISIS members in coordinated operations across Kirkuk, Mosul, and Baghdad.

• CTS units, in coordination with Iraqi intelligence and Kurdistan Region forces, destroyed six ISIS hideouts and caves in Kirkuk’s Dibis district and the Hamrin mountain range in Salahaddin province.

Iran

• Iranian Armed Forces spokesperson Brigadier General Abu al-Fadl Shokarji stated that Iran adheres to engagement with all nations while accusing the United States of obstructing compromise through excessive demands.

• He emphasized that psychological and cognitive warfare form a major component of external pressure and claimed that significant espionage networks have been dismantled.

🇮🇷 Report — The courtyard of Hazrat Zahra (S) was inaugurated in Najaf al-Ashraf, Iraq in the presence of Hujjat al-Islam Mohammadi Golpayegani, Head of the Office of Imam Khamenei.

The project is part of the work of the Headquarters for the Development and Reconstruction of the Holy Shrines (Setad-e Tose‘eh va Bazsazi-ye ‘Atabat-e ‘Aliyat), which was established in 2003 by the order of Imam Khamenei (H). The Headquarters was formed with the aim of reconstructing, developing, and investing billions in mosques, the shrines of the Prophets and Imams, the Ahl al-Bayt, and Islamic scholarly and religious heritage sites across the world particularly in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Iran, and other regions.

The Headquarters operates as a non-governmental, voluntary, and non-profit organization with an international scope, and its mandate is unlimited in duration. In 2022, its budget amounted to 1,300 billion tomans. The organization is registered as a people-based institution with Iran’s Ministry of Interior.

From its inception, Martyr Qassim Soleimani was appointed by Imam Khamenei as the official directly responsible for the establishment and supervision of the Headquarters. Until August 2019, the organization was headed by Hassan Palarak, after which Mohammad Jalal-Maʿab assumed leadership.

The Headquarters has carried out extensive activities in numerous Iraqi cities, including Najaf, Karbala, Kazimayn, Kufa, Samarra, Musayyib, and Balad, and since 2014 it has also been active in Syria. By 2020, nearly 3,000 personnel, were engaged in its projects across Iraq and Syria. It is estimated that, due to the efforts of Imam Khamenei and the substantial contributions from the Shiʿa world, almost all major Islamic heritage sites belonging to both Sunni and Shiʿa traditions have been preserved and conserved through these initiatives.

🟨 | Statement issued by Hezbollah regarding an American individual’s desecration of the Holy Qur’an:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Hezbollah strongly condemns, in the harshest terms, the disgraceful crime and abhorrent act committed by an American individual, consisting of the desecration of the Holy Qur’an in a provocative scene saturated with hatred and incitement. This act constitutes a blatant assault on the most sacred sanctities of Muslims and on the religious and human values represented by all revealed religions.

Hezbollah asserts that the racist culture and hate-filled rhetoric fostered by political and media currents in the West, which for decades have worked to distort the image of Islam through incitement by successive U.S. administrations and Zionist lobbies, in service of their divisive, colonial, and destructive projects, are the primary reason such extremists dare to commit these despicable acts.

Hezbollah further emphasizes that the U.S. administration’s refusal to take any action against the perpetrators of such offenses, under the false pretext of freedom of opinion and expression, constitutes proof that the administration provides full cover for these dangerous incitement practices. This, it says, reflects the inherent malice embedded in the policies of American politicians, aimed at fueling religious hatred and stoking conflicts among peoples.

The statement adds that this crime is neither an isolated step nor an individual act. Rather, these obsessed individuals are mere puppets in the hands of global arrogance, whose tyrants seek to weaken Islam because it represents a moral and ethical system that stands as a firm barrier against moral decay, criminality, and aggression against peoples—values that the arrogant powers in these countries work to promote globally.

Hezbollah calls upon the Arab and Islamic nation—its peoples, leaders, and religious and cultural authorities—as well as the followers of all heavenly religions, to launch the broadest campaign of condemnation of this malicious criminal act and to adopt a firm and clear stance rejecting any violation of the sanctities and sacred symbols of Islam or any divine message. Such heinous acts, the statement concludes, only serve to fuel hatred and undermine all efforts aimed at strengthening understanding and peace among peoples.

🇮🇶 Breaking — Iraqi Security Media Cell:

In a qualitative intelligence operation, a force from the Iraqi Intelligence Agency, in coordination with Syrian security forces and with technical support from the International Coalition, carried out an airborne operation targeting two high-value individuals wanted by the Iraqi judiciary. The operation took place northeast of Syria, within Syrian territory, and resulted in the arrest of both suspects.

The Falcons Intelligence Cell of the Federal Intelligence and Investigations Agency, affiliated with the Iraqi Ministry of Interior, confirmed the successful execution of the air landing operation and the arrest of the two wanted targets.
