This operation comes in response to the repressive practices and crimes committed by these terrorist groups against our people, and to their persistent attempts to falsify awareness and spread sedition and hatred. Our heroes in the Authority were able to penetrate their digital defenses and reach deep into their media infrastructure for several minutes on some social pages before they could respond (for example, Syrian Ministry of Awqaf), as a clear message that the hands that reach out with malice toward our people will not remain safe, and that we are capable of reaching them in the heart of their digital domain.

We in the Cyber Authority of the Syrian Coastal Region affirm the following:

This operation is the beginning of a series of actions targeting anyone who participates in supporting terrorism and promoting its propaganda. We do not target civilians or platforms that serve the public; rather, we focus our efforts on the media and military arms of terrorist organizations.

We call on all those working at these misleading platforms to leave them immediately and return to the embrace of the homeland before the hand of justice reaches them.

❎ | Destabilization of Syria is ahead, possibly due to a third reason; the internal dogfight that could escalate into a major war at any time. The Netanyahu–Putin alliance for controlling the southern part of Syria and disarmament seems to be mere media talk as of now. Meanwhile, in Quneitra, the IOF is not only setting up checkpoints but also installing deep temporary cemented posts and command rooms, confirming their intention to remain on Syrian land for a long time. It is also reported that the IOF plans to install temporary settlements for its soldiers stationed there.

At the same time, in case of any turmoil from the SDF side, the Turkish occupation army is stretching its weak tendons in Halab by supplying weapons to HTS terrorists with American permission. In Idlib, internal clashes continue between groups and terrorist factions of foreign identities.

Julani’s recent visit to Russia was advertised as a formal offer, but in reality, he went there to beg and discuss unsolvable issues. Behind many critical layers, it might be that HTS now fears being struck by “ISIS 2.0” at any time — a force currently positioned on the surrounding hills, observing Syrian cities and awaiting commands from CENTCOM.

If the IOF advances with SDF cooperation and internal fighting in Idlib worsens, HTS’s terror belt may shatter like thin plastic. That’s why Russian support was sought, and HTS is trying desperately to secure it. Meanwhile, Russia’s special envoy for Syria, Alexander Lavrentiev, rushed to Tehran to meet top officials, including a direct aide to Imam Khamenei — for what purpose, we don’t yet know.

Does Russia want HTS to establish a channel with Iran, as requested by the dwindling leadership of HTS? Or has Moscow sensed the approaching waves of a massive internal conflict that can only be resolved with the participation of regional countries like Iran, Iraq, and Lebanon?

We have no clear answer — it’s better to wait and watch. But those who think the Syrian crisis is merely about Sunni rule, Shia imamate, caliphate, or similar ideological fight have already lost their minds in the fog of delusion and their own self assumptions.
