Some describe the Israeli war on Gaza as a “justification” for Sana’a to target ships, but this is incorrect and appears to be an attempt to undermine what it has done in terms of support. There was no Yemeni intention to target ships before the war; the targeting occurred as a direct result of the war on Gaza.

For example, Sana’a did not target American or British ships initially. However, when Washington and London waged war against it, Yemen responded by targeting them, and ceased once the attacks stopped. Therefore, when people say the “war is justified,” it should not be understood as Yemen waiting for an excuse to act—it was responding to aggression.

Sana’a holds a significant power card, which it could have used in response to Saudi aggression but chose not to, for reasons known to its leadership. It did, however, use it with the specific aim of halting the war on Gaza. In any case, Sana’a succeeded in establishing a naval balance, and its support operations allowed it to gain experience and develop its naval attack systems. This development is viewed by the Americans, Israelis, and some Arab and European observers as a serious threat that will influence future calculations.

Sana’a may choose to use this capability in the future, potentially to lift the siege on it, but according to a strategy it considers most effective.

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) carried out 120 raids targeting 83 locations across the Gaza Strip, dropping 127 bombs and conducting 15 assassinations, in addition to several drone strikes in the central and northern regions. The number of martyrs has risen to four, including two children and a woman. Among the victims was Ali Rami Abu Muslim from Khan Yunis, who was martyred after an IOF drone targeted a tent sheltering displaced people near the city of Asdaa, north of Khan Yunis, in southern Gaza. The occupation forces claimed that their air force targeted a six-kilometer underground tunnel allegedly used by Hamas to hold hostages, launching more than 20 air raids on the eastern areas of Khan Yunis. The wave of Israeli bombings also focused heavily on the city of Rafah.

In the central Gaza Strip, dozens of airstrikes resulted in mass casualties and destruction. In western Al-Zawayda, six people were martyred and several others injured. In the Shalihat area, a tent bombing left one martyr and multiple wounded. Al-Razi (Al-Sardi) School was struck, resulting in four martyrs, while one child was martyred at Al-Awda Hospital and more injuries were reported at Al-Aqsa Hospital. The Abu Sweireh family home in Sawarha, west of Al-Nusairat, was bombed, leaving three martyrs. In Al-Bureij camp, a house was targeted, causing four martyrs and several missing people. A tent near the Al-Ahly Club in Al-Nusairat was also bombed, killing two and injuring others. In total, 21 martyrs have been received by hospitals in the central governorate.

Meanwhile, in a political development, a delegation from the leadership of the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, headed by Dr. Khalil Al-Hayya, arrived in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, on Sunday, October 19, 2025, to follow up on the implementation of the ceasefire agreement with mediators, Palestinian factions, and other national forces.

The Israeli occupation forces continue their wide-scale campaign across the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem, conducting violent raids, arrests, and assaults on civilians throughout the night and early morning hours.

Occupation forces stormed multiple towns and villages, including Imatin (east of Qalqilya), Tubas, Beit Rima, Al-Mazra’a al-Gharbiyah, and Qabatiya (south of Jenin). The city of Nablus and its surrounding areas—Kafr Qalil, Rafidia, Beit Wazan, and An-Naqura—witnessed heavy military incursions, with reports of house raids, arrests, and widespread intimidation. Forces also entered Al-Mughayyir (northeast of Ramallah), arresting several residents, including Nadi Nasan and Alaa Raqi Nasar Abu Aliya.

In Ramallah, the occupation stormed the Umm al-Sharayit neighborhood, detaining a young man and a woman. Military forces also deployed near student housing in the Rafidia neighborhood of Nablus, causing fear among residents.

At the Qalandiya military checkpoint, north of occupied Jerusalem, a young man was shot and injured by occupation soldiers. The city of Dura in southern Hebron also came under assault, with Israeli troops raiding the Al-Sharfah area and detaining several young men.

By the end of the operations, at least 10 arrests were confirmed across various towns, including Tubas, Qabatiya, and Al-Mazra’a al-Gharbiyah, alongside numerous injuries and extensive property damage. He called certain claims about the despair of Iran’s youth unfounded and poorly studied, emphasizing:

“Our dear Iran and its youth are the embodiment of hope. It must be understood that the Iranian youth, with determination and effort, have the capability and skill to reach the highest peaks, just as you have done in global arenas of sport and science.”

Highlighting the remarkable progress achieved in several sectors since the Revolution, Imam Khamenei said:

“One clear example is your achievements this year, which may be unprecedented in the history of Iranian sports.”

The Leader also praised the accomplishments of Iran’s gifted young students who have reached the heights of global science:

“These achievements are credited to the Iranian nation and draw the eyes of the world toward Iran.”

He described the athletes’ acts of respecting the flag, prostrating, and praying upon victory as true reflections of the Iranian nation, adding:

“Our young Olympiad champions are now shining stars, and if they continue their efforts, ten years from now they will become bright suns. The responsibility of officials in nurturing this potential is very important.”

Imam Khamenei noted that the active role of the youth has been a continuous movement since the victory of the Revolution:

“During the eight-year imposed war, it was the young generation that, despite shortages and limited resources, demonstrated such military creativity that Iran triumphed over a heavily armed enemy backed and supported from all sides.”

He further identified the field of knowledge as another area where Iranian youth have brought great honor, stating:

“Iran now ranks among the top ten countries in research and scientific advancement across various disciplines, including nanotechnology, laser science, nuclear energy, multiple military industries, and medical innovations. Just a few days ago, I heard very important news that one of our research centers has succeeded in finding a cure for an incurable disease.”

Imam Khamenei reminded the audience of the enemy’s ongoing efforts to obstruct Iran’s scientific and technological progress, explaining that adversaries attempt to deny or ignore Iran’s achievements, mix truth with falsehood, exaggerate shortcomings, and use biased propaganda to portray the nation in darkness.

“But you,” he told the young champions, “by standing atop the peaks of science and sports, have shown the bright and vibrant reality of this country to the whole world.”

The Zionists did not expect that Iranian missiles, with their flames and fire, could penetrate the depths of their sensitive centers and reduce them to ashes.”

“Iran neither bought nor borrowed these missiles—they are the hand-made creations of Iranian youth. When Iranian youth enter the field, they can, through effort and scientific innovation, achieve such remarkable feats.”

He emphasized that these weapons were developed and deployed by Iran’s armed forces and defense industries:

“They are still available and, if necessary, will be used again.”

Analyzing the U.S. President’s recent statements, Imam Khamenei (H) described them as foolish and shallow attempts to boost Zionist morale. He added:

“In the war on Gaza, the United States was without a doubt the main partner in the Zionist regime’s crimes—as even the American president himself admitted when he said that the U.S. was working with the regime in Gaza. Even if he hadn’t said it, it was obvious, because the weapons and bombs dropped on the defenseless people of Gaza were all American-made.”

He called the American claim of “fighting terrorism” another blatant lie:

“More than twenty thousand children and infants have been martyred in Gaza. Were they terrorists? The real terrorist is the United States—it created Daesh (ISIS), unleashed it upon the region, and still controls remnants of it for its own purposes.”

He noted that “the killing of nearly seventy thousand people in Gaza and the martyrdom of over a thousand Iranians during the twelve-day war are clear evidence of the terrorist nature of America and the Zionist regime.” He added:

“They not only slaughter civilians but have also assassinated our scientists such as Tahranchi and Abbasi—and they take pride in these crimes. But they must know that science cannot be assassinated.”

Imam Khamenei (H) also referred to the U.S. president’s boast about bombing Iran’s nuclear industry and his claim to have ‘destroyed’ it, saying:

“That’s fine—believe that illusion if you wish. But who are you to dictate what another nation can or cannot do regarding its nuclear industry? What does Iran’s nuclear capability have to do with America? Such interference is illegitimate, false, and tyrannical.”

He mentioned the recent massive anti-Trump protests across the United States:

“If you truly have any capability, instead of spreading lies, interfering in other countries, and building military bases abroad, go and calm those millions of protesters and send them back to their homes.”

Declaring that “America itself is the embodiment of terrorism,” Imam Khamenei (H) called Trump’s claim of supporting the Iranian people a lie:

“America’s secondary sanctions, which many countries follow out of fear, are aimed directly at the Iranian nation. Therefore, you are not our friend—you are our enemy.”

He boasts about having assassinated an Iranian scientist; yes, you assassinated scientists, people like Tahranchi and Abbasi and others, but you cannot assassinate their science. He boasts that we bombed and destroyed Iran’s nuclear industry, well fine, believe that illusion if you wish.

Who are you to interfere and say what another country may or may not have in the way of a nuclear industry? What business is it of America whether Iran has nuclear capabilities or not? These interventions are improper, wrong, and tyrannical.

Go then, if you really have the ability. I have heard that millions are protesting against him across American states, seven million according to the report that was given. If you are so capable, calm those people. Make them quiet. Send them back to their homes.
