On the first anniversary of the martyrdom of the heroic resistance leader, Yahya Sinwar (Abu Ibrahim):

The flame of the Flood will never fade, and the blood of our martyred leaders strengthens the path of resistance for generations. We pledge to remain steadfast on their path, honoring their sacrifices and journey until the liberation of the land and holy sites.

A full year has passed since that heroic epic witnessed by the world, led by the commander of the Al-Aqsa Flood battle, Martyr Leader Yahya Sinwar, who concluded his life and struggle full of jihad and sacrifices, standing firm in the heart of the battle, waving his staff, defying the brutality of the occupation.

A year has passed since the martyrdom of this great national leader, and through the patience and steadfastness of our people, and the strength and courage of our resistance, a national achievement was accomplished; an agreement that thwarted all the plans of the occupation in its aggression against our land and people. This includes halting the aggression, the war of annihilation, starvation, displacement, and ethnic cleansing, and achieving a prisoner exchange deal titled “Flood of the Free,” through which 1,968 Palestinian prisoners regained their freedom and shattered the arrogance of the Zionist jailer.

On this first anniversary of the martyrdom of the heroic resistance leader Yahya Sinwar, we proudly remember his noble life and blessed journey. He lived as a mujahid since his youth, enduring 23 years of imprisonment while remaining steadfast and overcoming his jailers, continuing his path of preparation, planning, and building after his release, leading up to the dawn of October 7, 2023, which humiliated the occupation, shook its foundations, and destroyed the myth of its army, culminating in his martyrdom on the battlefield.

We affirm that the martyrdom of Brother Commander Yahya Sinwar, and before him all the leaders and symbols of the movement who preceded him on the same path of struggle for liberation and return, will only strengthen our movement, our people, and our resistance, increasing our determination to uphold their methodology, continue their path, and honor their blood and sacrifices.

The flame of the Al-Aqsa Flood will remain burning, pulsating with the spirit of upholding rights, constants, and national unity. Its blaze will never fade in the hearts of our great people, no matter the sacrifices or the strength and crimes of the occupation. We remain committed to the pledge of our martyred leaders; the banner will never fall, and it will remain high, carried and defended by all the sons of our people until full liberation and the establishment of a fully sovereign Palestinian state with al-Quds as its capital.

On this first anniversary of your martyrdom, Abu Ibrahim, rest in peace. You fulfilled the trust and truly struggled to lower the enemy’s banner, break its thorn, humiliate its leaders, and shake the pillars of its claimed existence. Even if your pure body is absent from Gaza, your spirit soars in the heavens, filling the universe with the message that the blood of martyrs writes eternal glory for Palestine and the Ummah. The enemy failed to achieve its aggressive goals on the land of Gaza, was forced to cease fire, and secured its prisoners only according to the will and conditions of the resistance.

Mercy, glory, and eternity to the soul of the heroic martyr Yahya Sinwar (Abu Ibrahim) and all the caravans of martyrs from our leaders and people of the Ummah. We ask Allah Almighty to grant them the highest paradise alongside the Prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, the righteous, and the best of companions.

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Allah Almighty said: “And it was incumbent upon Us to help the believers.”

And He, exalted, said: “If you help Allah, He will help you and make your foothold firm.”

And He, exalted, said: “Among the believers are men who have been true to what they pledged to Allah; among them are those who have fulfilled their vow [by death], and among them are those who wait, and they did not change [their determination] by the least change.” Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

Believing in Allah and trusting in Him, relying on and putting our trust in Him, and within the framework of the religious and jihadi responsibility that moves our dear Yemeni Muslim people to support and assist their brothers in Gaza with sacrifice, steadfastness, and devotion, and in recognition of the greatness of jihad in the cause of Allah as a religious, moral, and human duty that secures the nation’s honor, dignity and pride, and guarantees the believing mujahid success, happiness and Allah’s acceptance in this world and the next.

Our dear Yemeni Muslim people have mobilized to undertake the battle of the promised conquest and the sacred jihad in support of the Palestinian people, to assist the steadfast mujahideen in the Gaza Strip, and to defend the sanctities of the Ummah and its religious belonging. They have expended wealth despite the siege, offered sacrifices despite wounds and pain, and favored their oppressed brothers in Gaza over themselves in jihad for the sake of Allah and in support of the weak.

The Yemeni Armed Forces, represented by the Ministry of Defense, the General Staff, and all the various military formations, land, sea and air, have stood at the forefront of this people and have been the spearhead in support operations and in carrying out direct battles with the criminal Zionist enemy.

By Allah’s grace and assistance, the total number of operations carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces reached (758) operations, performed using (1,835) weapons/systems, including ballistic and cruise missiles, hypersonic weapons, unmanned aerial vehicles, and naval craft.

Similarly, the naval forces carried out operations against Israeli vessels and those violating Yemen’s ban on Israeli navigation, totaling (346) operations across the theater of operations extending from the Red Sea, Bab al-Mandeb, the Gulf of Aden, the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean, in which more than (228) ships were targeted.

Our air defenses, by Allah’s grace and help, during the “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle succeeded in downing (22) American MQ-9 reconnaissance aircraft and launched (40) interception operations against enemy aviation of various kinds, reaching strategic bomber launches with more than (57) missiles; they foiled a number of hostile operations and forced many of the enemy’s combat formations to withdraw, by Allah’s grace and assistance.

These great victories and honorable operations would not have been achieved but for Allah’s aid, victory, support and guidance for the mujahideen stationed at their positions, for their tireless work and great sacrifices in confronting the enemies and for giving of themselves, which have been a primary factor in victory, support and assistance in carrying out this sacred battle and confronting the American, Israeli and allied aggression. This aggression sought to deter the Yemeni people from their religious and humanitarian stance and to stop the operations of support for wounded Gaza and its patient people.

The criminal enemy, with its alliances, capabilities and military, security and financial empires, launched brutal aggression in repeated rounds, targeting civilian objects, residential neighborhoods and economic facilities, which the Yemeni people met with patience, strength, steadfastness and resilience, regarding these sacrifices as a humble participation in this sacred battle, and seeing in the sacrifices of their great sons a source of pride, honor and dignity desired and aspired to by every free and honorable person.

During this aggression and over two years of providing support, many great martyrs fell, civilians and military personnel from the naval, land and missile forces, the prime minister and his ministerial colleagues, and various sons of the Yemeni people, within the framework of the battle of the promised conquest and the sacred jihad.

Today, in the Yemeni Armed Forces, we announce to our dear Yemeni Muslim people the names of some of the great martyrs who rose in the various raids carried out by the criminal American-Zionist aggression against our country during two years of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle and who attained the great honor of shedding their blood in this noble struggle against the Israeli enemy. The jihadi leader Major General Mohammed Abdul Karim Al-Ghamari, along with some of his companions and his son, the martyr Hussein, aged 13, rose to the afterlife while performing his jihadi duty and fulfilling his religious duty, a happy martyr among the caravan of great martyrs on the road to Jerusalem.

What is a source of pride and consolation to the Ummah in its loss is that the Qur’anic path is rich with great leaders like the martyr and his companions in jihad and responsibility, steadfast, sincere mujahideen and leaders who continue the path with a spirit of religious jihad, Qur’anic awareness, high knowledge, accumulated experience and broad practical expertise. Military operations did not stop, missiles and drones did not cease, and the military system was not affected; rather, it continued at the same pace and with even greater ferocity and punishment against the criminal enemy. The rounds of conflict with the enemy have not ended, and the Zionist enemy will receive the retribution for the crimes it committed.

It will be a deterrent by the help of Allah Almighty until the liberation of Quds and the removal of the entity by His permission.

The great methodology for which the great martyrs gave their lives does not end with the martyrdom of any one of them but is a course taken up by generations, carried forward by the heroes from one generation to the next, affirming that the caravan of the great will not stop except with the cessation of all life, and that the blood of the leader-martyrs forges the toughest men before whom sacrifices become light and lives become cheap.

On this great occasion we renew our pledge and loyalty to continue and remain faithful to the blood of the great martyrs, and that their jihadi lives by which we knew them will be a torch of light that illuminates the paths of jihad and sacrifice in our jihadi march. We are keepers of the will, true to the promise, steadfast on the covenant until Allah grants the certain victory to our Ummah, drawing help from Allah and drawing resolve, sacrifice and steadfastness from the Messenger of Allah and from the blood of the great martyrs, upon whom be Allah’s pleasure.

Glory and eternity to the martyrs, healing for the wounded, relief for the prisoners, and victory for our Ummah and our people in Palestine and Yemen and all the free people of the Ummah.
