Today, the media lacks credibility across all platforms, from television and print to social media. A large majority of outlets are infiltrated, co-opted, and damaged to an extreme level, making any meaningful reform or repair impossible at present.

In countries like Pakistan, as well as other regional nations, media organizations are frequently subjected to government pressure, censorship, and intimidation. Many function as mouthpieces for state narratives, suppressing dissenting voices and critical reporting. This has created an environment where propaganda, misinformation, and sensationalism thrive, further eroding public trust.

The financial and ownership structures of these media outlets often reinforce this problem. Corporate conglomerates and foreign sponsorships dictate editorial lines, ensuring that independent or investigative journalism is marginalized. Social media platforms, while theoretically offering a space for free expression, are increasingly manipulated by algorithms, paid campaigns, and state-backed accounts, further controlling the narrative.

The cumulative effect is that South Asian media, in its current state, is incapable of holding power accountable, informing the public accurately, or fostering healthy debate. Without systemic reforms, a revival of credible, independent media in the region remains a distant and unlikely prospect.

That is why we refrain from relying on the reporting of Afghanistan and Pakistan media. Henceforth, only authentic reports and analysis will be shared.

🇵🇸 | The brother of Saleh al-Jaafarawi (r) confirms that he was killed today in clashes against Israeli-backed terrorist militias in the Gaza Strip. According to local journalists, his body was brought to the Baptist Hospital of Gaza. Saleh al-Jaafarawi was a journalist from Gaza City, known for his distinctive coverage of the war on Gaza and the occupation’s crimes, as well as for his supportive stance toward the Palestinian resistance. He was also a community initiator and activist in charitable work and a graduate of media from the Islamic University in Gaza. Throughout the war, he was repeatedly targeted and incited against by the spokesperson of the occupation army, amid Israeli calls for his assassination. He was ultimately killed by an outlaw gang in the Sabra neighborhood of Gaza after the gang refused to surrender to resistance and Gaza security agencies.

Alongside Saleh, months ago Anas Al-Sharif was also martyred. Both journalists had been repeatedly threatened with assassination by the occupation, and propaganda was continuously circulated against them due to their positions and media coverage of the war. Anas Al-Sharif was killed a few months ago during the occupation’s bombing campaigns, while Saleh was killed recently at the hands of an outlaw gang shortly after the announcement of the cessation of war.

In just 48 hours, Israeli media figure Youssef Haddad launched a massive media campaign against Saleh, explicitly calling for his elimination and urging the suspension of his internet accounts, labeling him as one of the people who “attacked the Gaza envelope” on October 7. Interestingly, some American “fake resistance” channels are falsely claiming that Hamas is fighting against Palestinians, while in reality, they are crushing the mercenary militias in large numbers.

This matter is not about requesting freedom as a favor or charity; it is about reclaiming a freedom that has been suspended and stolen. Freedom is a profound divine gift and a great honor for humanity, and no one has the right to revoke it except under the clear guidance of sacred divine law. Those imprisoned in Bahrain are held solely for standing for justice, rejecting oppression, enjoining good, and forbidding evil.

A society cannot be truly honored, enriched, dignified, secure, or happy if its people’s demands for rights are silenced and the movement to enjoin good and forbid evil is stifled.

It must be remembered that the reform movement has consistently called for peace, even in the face of an official response marked by excessive force and brutality, which has cost lives, desecrated sacred spaces, and led to widespread violations of freedoms.

🇵🇸 | Violent clashes erupted in the eastern region of Nablus, where the occupation forces fired live bullets at young men. Security sources told Al-Jazeera that the security agencies have fully controlled the armed militia in Gaza City and are carrying out a comprehensive combing operation. Several defendants accused of executing displaced persons and collaborating with the occupation during clashes with the militia in Gaza have been killed. Around 60 militia members have been arrested and transferred to secure sites for further investigation. Citizens expressed great joy as patrols loaded with security personnel and detainees roamed the streets surrounding the slaughterhouse and church area.

Sources in Gaza confirmed that resistance security forces have regained control over a square in the Sabra neighborhood, where an outlaw gang had been hiding following violent clashes. Security forces continue to seize equipment and weapons from gang members as part of the ongoing operation in the area.

The father of the martyr and Qassam Brigades leader Raafat Dweik (in photo) commented on the occupation’s threat to demolish his house in the town of Silat Al-Harithiya, west of Jenin, for his son’s role in leading deadly operations against the occupation during the war on Gaza, saying he would sacrifice himself for his son and praying that God accepts his deed.

Hamas leader Osama Hamdan stated that they remember all martyrs and those who supported the resistance, as well as the dignity of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Sayyed Hashem Safieddine. He emphasized that one political indication of the Gaza ceasefire agreement is that the occupation failed to achieve its objectives through military force. Despite all international and regional support, the enemy was forced to negotiate with the resistance and could not uproot it after two years. Hamdan also highlighted that they do not trust the occupation or its guarantees, as it consistently violates agreements, but it is currently not in a position to wage war.

Hamas leader Ghazi Hamad told Al-Jazeera that international pressure, particularly from Arab states, is needed to curb Netanyahu’s actions in Gaza and the West Bank. He noted that mediators are working to ensure the agreement is fully implemented and called for strict supervision of the occupation’s behavior. Hamad added that necessary arrangements to hand over prisoners held by the occupation have been completed, but the process is being delayed. He further stated that efforts are underway to completely stop the war, achieve the withdrawal of occupation forces, exchange prisoners, and facilitate the entry of humanitarian aid.

Last night, In a carefully planned and tightly executed security ambush, the Resistance Security Apparatus succeeded in neutralizing the so-called “A.T.”, one of the most prominent figures in Yasser Abu Shabab’s militia and the individual responsible for its recruitment network. The operation, carried out in the southern Gaza Strip, also led to the arrest of several members of the same group as part of a broad security campaign aimed at dismantling militias, pursuing outlaws, and strengthening internal stability. During this campaign, the mercenary Ahmed Zaidan Al-Tarabin, who oversaw the recruitment of collaborators for the Abu Shabab militia in Khan Younis, was also executed.

Meanwhile, the channels that talk about this so-called civil war continue to quietly spread disinformation, pretending neutrality while amplifying propaganda whenever it suits them. Their hypocrisy is exposed in their silence toward real crimes and their eagerness to echo the language of the occupation. The resistance’s current combing operations are addressing the most dangerous internal threats in Gaza, those that seek to fracture unity from within.

Those who now cry out about a “civil war” are the same who cheer for Mahmoud Abbas and reject the blood of the resistance. To them we say: your voices expose your allegiance. And to the resistance, we say: go forward, continue the cleansing and safeguard the unity and security of our people.
