For the past two years, he has worked closely with Palestinian activists, scholars, and civil society leaders, consistently amplifying the voices of Gaza’s besieged population. Recently, while leading Pakistan’s delegation on the Global Sumud Flotilla, Khan was detained by Israeli forces after the vessel was boarded. His detention drew widespread condemnation from human rights observers. During this period, he endured harsh treatment including handcuffing, beatings, blindfolding, intimidation, and even denial of basic necessities, all while maintaining a hunger strike to uphold his principles. Despite these hardships, he remained resolute and unshaken.

In Pakistan, Senator Mushtaq has repeatedly led protests in support of Palestine. In 2024, he organized demonstrations at D-Chowk, Islamabad, demanding meaningful government action on Gaza. These protests occasionally led to clashes with authorities, but his commitment never wavered.

✅ | Americans want Pakistan to fight in Afghanistan on their behalf. They aim to establish a temporary presence in places like Bagram and parts of Waziristan to create a buffer zone, projecting power while avoiding direct domestic political cost. Muneer’s submissive “yes sir” and “okay sir” posture toward Washington will only make Pakistan useful once more and invite fresh turmoil. The logic is cynical: cultivate a controlled instability so that proxy forces and militant networks can be redeployed as convenient instruments. Deobandi–Barelvi extremists risk being funneled into the role of pseudo‑jihadis under the banner of difa‑i‑watan, providing cover for operations that serve foreign strategic ends while leaving Pakistan to deal with the humanitarian and security fallout.

This strategy will deepen sectarian fissures, accelerate radicalization among marginalised youth, and damage Pakistan’s social fabric. Economically, temporary bases and renewed conflict would scare off investment, harm trade, and produce new waves of displacement of refugee flows and internal displacement that burden already fragile provincial services. Diplomatically, Pakistan could be pressured into compromises that erode sovereignty: open‑border threats, restrictions on movement, and pretexts for international meddling. Turkey and Pakistan, as regional actors with independent ambitions, will suffer when outside powers treat them as expendable; instability in either capital feeds instability across the region.

Worse still, the narrative machinery around these interventions will weaponize local politics. Media campaigns, intelligence operations, and proxies will be used to delegitimize domestic opposition and to manufacture consent for unpopular security measures. Civil‑military tensions will rise as the state chooses short‑term tactical alignment over long‑term stability. The result is predictable: more violence, a deeper security trap, and a state increasingly incapable of protecting its own people.

What can be done? Pakistan needs an independent foreign policy (impossible without any revolution) that refuses to be a staging ground for other people’s wars, strict civilian oversight of any military‑to‑foreign relations, investment in deradicalization and jobs in the borderlands, and a regional diplomatic push to de‑escalate rather than militarize. Without those steps, the country will be ground down by repeated cycles of foreign use, proxy violence, and domestic fracture all justified in the name of “strategic necessity” but paid for in blood and sovereignty.

Their motivation was not driven by pipelines, banks, oil projects, or the comfort of luxury. They stood up under suffocating global and Arab siege, guided by faith and the calculations of heaven, not the temptations of earth.

They acted with the awareness of the Day of Judgment, with the conviction to support the oppressed regardless of the cost, knowing that the only real power they possess is the power of God.

For them, Gaza is not just a cause; it is a sacred duty, a divine trust through which they distinguish friend from foe. Their guiding question remains: “What will we say to God when we stand before Him?” The loyalty of a true friend to his friend, of a brother to his brother, and of a comrade-in-arms to his comrade, is sealed in blood.

Among those who give through sacrifice, the offering of blood admits no outsider, and those who remain idle or indifferent have no right to speak of anyone’s favor over another they stand outside the circle of giving. Peace be upon Gaza and the martyrs of Gaza, for every martyr on the fronts of resistance is a martyr of Gaza, of Al-Quds, and of Palestine.

The main challenge for the resistance now is to identify and neutralize the influence of militia and mercenary leaders operating within Gaza; it is the duty of Gaza’s people to expose collaborators and push for accountability as quickly as possible.
