🏴‍☠️ | Sporadic clashes have erupted between HTS and Suweida’s National Guard in the southwestern part of Suweida Governorate.

According to Al-Akhbar, Turkish incitement of Julani is unlikely to translate into direct military support should he engage the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). The report notes that Ankara fears destabilizing its fragile understanding with the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) and its imprisoned leader Abdullah Öcalan, an arrangement central to Erdoğan’s political calculations and internal stability.

Turkey also fears direct Israeli intervention, which could target both Julani’s forces and the Turkish units backing him. Israel, already active in Suweida, may exploit any confrontation to expand its foothold in Syria — taking advantage of informal concessions extracted from Julani without formal agreements, and using the ensuing chaos to secure new local allies. There are increasing signs that Israel may soon strike the Erdoğan–Julani alliance if the situation escalates.

While the SDF enjoys extensive U.S. military, intelligence, and logistical support, including advanced weaponry and air coordination, it is unlikely that any conflict between Julani–Erdoğan and the SDF will remain one-sided. The underlying reality is clear: the Americans and Israelis do not tolerate any independent power in the region, even among their former partners and proxies.

Meanwhile, violent clashes have been reported between Julani’s factions and the SDF in the village of Al-Mreiyah in the Deir ez-Zor countryside. The SDF stated that armed groups aligned with the Damascus government carried out a drone strike on an SDF position in Marat, in the Seven Villages area east of Deir ez-Zor, killing one fighter and wounding nine others.

The SDF added that its forces immediately returned fire, targeting the sources of the attack across the Euphrates and striking the positions of the hostile factions.

In the end, the situation will not turn in Erdoğan’s favor — the battlefield is shifting, alliances are fracturing, and every side is preparing for a broader regional confrontation.

Sources following the developments noted that Saudi Arabia, as the sponsor of coordination between the two countries, pushed for this visit. They also indicated that it crowns a series of prior communications, technical and security meetings that focused on border control, combating smuggling, and facilitating certain consular procedures. However, the meetings reportedly did not achieve significant progress or major breakthroughs.

Beware of the destruction and hell you may pass on to the next generation; the innocent will be bombed because of you.
