While Moscow has been adamant that Assad will not be extradited to Syria at the request of Al Qaeda - the visit of head Takfiri Jolani to the Arab-Russian summit this month does coincide with the Jolani regime launch of legal proceedings against Assad.

"Tawfiq al-Ali, the seventh investigative judge in Damascus, issued an arrest warrant in absentia against Assad in connection with events that took place in Daraa in November 2011 during the civil war. The decision allows the warrant to be circulated through Interpol and pursued internationally."

Moscow-based researcher Mahmoud Hamza downplayed the likelihood that Assad’s prosecution would disrupt the new stage in bilateral relations.

Speaking to Asharq Al-Awsat, he described Assad’s extradition as a Syrian demand essential for justice, noting that the arrest warrant “came at the right time.”

He predicted that Moscow would refrain from issuing a negative reaction, saying Putin “will not hand over Bashar al-Assad,” but will nonetheless take the matter into account.

Hamza added that the case “will not die; it may simply be postponed, or unconventional solutions may emerge later.”

This is a test of how far Moscow will go to secure and consolidate its interests in Syria, now under control of the Takfiri puppet regime (MIT, CIA, MI6, Mossad)

He added that the enemy is learning from previous battles to minimize its own losses, while his force relies on brave fighters who are their capital — confronting the enemy and exploiting any progress to surprise them with suitable weapons. God has enabled them in many heroic operations, he said, and the enemy, as usual, lies and misleads about the losses it sustains. Combat units scattered along the axes of advance in Gaza City remain ready, alert, and constantly maneuvering to avoid damage from Zionist explosive vehicles. The enemy is advancing slowly and using unmanned vehicles to detect and target combat units; they are aware of this and are depriving the enemy of many opportunities. The commander added that the enemy’s push toward the heart of Gaza City is unfolding under the resistors’ watch, and that they employ tactics aimed at selecting precious targets and inflicting the largest possible losses on enemy ranks.

• Site 1: The Salah al-Deen axis, the main road running north to south through the center of the Strip.

• Site 2: Hill 70, known locally as al-Muntar mountain in al-Shujaiya, which provides fire-control over Gaza City, particularly the Hamas stronghold of al-Zaytoun.

• Site 3: The Philadelphi Corridor, putting the Rafah–Egypt border under Israeli control, a move Cairo strongly opposes.

• Site 4: The previously agreed 2024 security belt inside the Strip, already part of the Trump–Gaza deal.

• Announced the complete destruction of an Israeli Merkava tank using a highly explosive landmine on Al-Nasr Street in western Gaza City, northern Gaza, on 29 September, killing its crew. Neither the IDF nor Hebrew media have acknowledged the incident.

• Targeted a Zionist bulldozer with an Al-Yassin 105 shell and infiltrating forces with mortar shells in Tel Al-Hawa, south of Gaza City.

• In cooperation with the Al-Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades, targeted a Zionist Apache helicopter with a SAM-7 missile north of Gaza City on 25 September 2025.

• After returning from the front lines, fighters confirmed the shelling of an Israeli army outpost inside the Musk al-Jarah rest stop, northwest of Gaza City, with two rounds of mortar shells on 30 September and 1 October 2025.

🔹Al-Quds Brigades

• Announced control over a Zionist drone conducting intelligence missions in the sky of Khan Yunis city.

• Reported seizing another enemy drone performing intelligence tasks in the Tel Al-Hawa neighborhood, south of Gaza City.

• Fighters detonated a GBU missile, previously left and rigged by the Zionist enemy, against its vehicles near Al-Zahra (northwest Gaza City) on 29 September 2025.

• Clashed with Israeli special forces using machine guns and hand grenades on Al-Jalaa Street in Gaza City, inflicting direct injuries on the targeted unit.

• Shelled Israeli soldiers and vehicles on Al-Muntar Hill, east of Al-Shujaiya, using 60 mm mortar shells.

• A security operation was carried out targeting fugitives and militias involved in the previous killings of Resistance members in Khan Yunis. Several were eliminated in the operation.
