The clown Trump and the delusional Netanyahu, who imagine the Golan Heights belong to their usurping entity, are blind to the fact that the days of this occupation are numbered. What was imposed by force will not be enshrined by any decision or by the counterfeit legitimacy concocted in the offices of Washington or Tel Aviv.

The Golan Heights are an integral part of Syrian soil, and that right cannot be nullified by the signature of a troubled president or the bluster of a defeated leader. No matter how assiduously the American administration seeks to legitimize the occupation, and no matter how deeply the normalization regimes collude, the identity of the land is written in the blood of its owners, not in the ink of brokers.
