🇾🇪 Breaking — Official Statement from Presidency of the Republic of Yemen:

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

“Among the believers are men true to what they promised Allah. Among them is he who has fulfilled his vow [to the death], and among them is he who awaits [his chance]. And they did not alter [the terms of their commitment] by any alteration.”Al-Ahzab 33:23

In support of the oppressed Palestinian people, Yemen has engaged in the Battle of the Promised Victory and the Sacred Jihad, earning great honor and offering convoys of martyrs from the heroes of the Armed Forces and other sons of the great Yemeni people, who carried the banner and pledged to stand firm on the truth, no matter the cost.

Today, amid the open battle with the Israeli enemy, we mourn a new constellation of great martyrs from the national leadership representing the Yemeni people in all its segments. We announce the martyrdom of the Mujahid Ahmed Ghaleb al-Rahawi, Prime Minister in the Government of Change and Reconstruction, along with several of his fellow ministers, after being targeted by the treacherous Israeli enemy during a routine workshop evaluating government activity and performance over a year of work. Others were also wounded with moderate to serious injuries and are under medical care. This occurred on Thursday, the 5th of Rabi’ al-Awwal 1447 AH.

We reassure our great Yemeni people and pledge that, with Allah’s help, the government will continue its duties in managing affairs, and institutions will keep providing services to the steadfast and patient Yemeni people. The size of this loss will not affect this continuity, and the blood of these great martyrs will be fuel and motivation to continue on the same path.

We affirm to our Yemeni people, the oppressed Palestinian people, all the sons of our nation, and all free people of the world that we remain steadfast in our principled position to support and assist the people of Gaza, to build our armed forces, and to develop their capabilities to face all challenges and dangers. This reflects the determination, will, and faith of our great Yemeni people present in all arenas and fields.

Indeed, to Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return. Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs.

Eternity and mercy to the martyrs,
Healing for the wounded,
Freedom for the captives,
Honor and victory to our dear people and all the free people of the nation.

🇾🇪 | Adieu to Shaheed Ahmed Ghaleb Nasser al-Rahawi al-Yafei (rahmatullah alayh):

The Yemeni Ansarallah have lost one of their most dedicated leaders, joining the highest constellation of martyrs for the cause, alongside figures like Ismail Haniyeh, Shaheed Hassan Nasrallah, and Shaheed Ibrahim Raisi. Shaheed al-Rahawi, Prime Minister and minister, survived multiple assassination attempts by Israel’s proxies in Yemen. Several of his family members were also injured, and in 2015, Al-Qaeda destroyed his only house in Ba Tays, forcing him to relocate to the capital, Sanaa.

He later served as the governor of Abyan Governorate, and in 2019 was appointed to the Ansrallah-led Supreme Political Council, the executive body for Ansarallah in Yemen. Throughout his life, al-Rahawi exemplified Jihadi & Fearless dedication to the heart of the Yemeni cause.

May Allah accept this immense sacrifice from Yemen and grant him the highest place among the martyrs. Yet, a country’s Prime Minister has been killed—where is the condemnation? Where are the prosecutions? Will the UN and international law courts act, or will they remain silent?

🏴 | Shaheed Ahmed Ghaleb Nasser al-Rahawi al-Yafei (r):

With profound sorrow, Team-EnemyWatch mourn the martyrdom of Shaheed Ahmed Ghaleb Nasser al-Rahawi al-Yafei, a courageous and devoted leader of Yemen who dedicated his life to defending his homeland and serving his people. Al-Rahawi was a symbol of steadfast resistance against the US-Saudi blockade that has inflicted suffering on Yemen for over a decade. His life was marked by bravery, resilience, and tireless commitment to the Yemeni cause, surviving multiple assassination attempts and enduring immense personal sacrifices.

He held numerous distinguished positions, including Governor of Abyan, member of the Supreme Political Council, and Prime Minister in the Government of Change and Reconstruction. Throughout his life, al-Rahawi exemplified dedication, patriotism, and leadership, leaving a lasting legacy of honor and sacrifice for Yemen and the wider Ummah.

Al-Rahawi came from a family of committed leaders and social figures. He was the son of the late Ghaleb Nasser al-Rahawi, a prominent political and tribal figure, and a cousin of the late Sheikh Al-Rahawi and Sheikh Ahmed Al-Rahawi. His family shared his dedication to Yemen and endured personal risk alongside him.

In 2015, Al-Qaeda destroyed his only home in Abyan, forcing him to relocate to Sanaa to continue his work for the nation. His life was a testament to courage and faith, and his death represents a grievous loss to Yemen, his family, and the wider Ummah.

We curse the killers and all those complicit in this heinous crime, and we call upon all to remember and honor the other ministers who also attained sha’amat in this attack, whose sacrifices must never be forgotten.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. May Allah Almighty accept their sacrifices, forgive their shortcomings, and grant them the highest place among the martyrs. May Shaheed al-Rahawi be united with the Prophet Muhammad (S) and his purified family, and with all the exemplary Yemeni Sahaba, including Malik al-Ashtar (r), Huzayfa ibn Al-Yaman (r), Owais al-Qarani (r), Amr ibn Ma‘di Karb (r), Ka‘b ibn Malik (r) and Mu‘adh ibn Jabal (r), and others, in the gardens of Paradise. May Allah grant patience, perseverance, and strength to his family, companions, and the people of Yemen.

🗞️ | Khaleel Nasrallah:

The statement from the Presidency of Yemen in Sanaa surprised everyone, even the Arab channels that are now throwing names left and right.

What some “Arab” channels are broadcasting, as if they are fully covering the event, shows that their previous sources over the years were essentially imaginary. Imagine, three days have passed since the attack and no one knew what had actually happened, especially these channels. Yemenis remained discreet for their own reasons, and no news was leaked, even though the martyrs were public figures, including the Prime Minister. Once again, these channels have fallen into the trap of false reporting.

From a certain perspective, there is a similarity between the targeting of the Yemeni Prime Minister and his ministers and the attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus last year. Accordingly, Sanaa is committed to issuing a clear and direct response, different from previous instances.

🟩 Statement from Hamas on the Martyrdom of the Yemeni Leadership:

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

“And never think that those who were killed in the cause of God are dead; they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision.”

The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) expresses its condolences and mourning on the martyrdom of Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi, head of the Government of Change and Construction in the sister Republic of Yemen, along with several of his ministerial companions.

With increased faith, surrender, pride, and honor, we recall the steadfast positions of our brothers in loyalty, support, and victory for our people in the Gaza Strip. These heroic martyrs rose on the path of support for our people and the defense of Gaza, Jerusalem, and Al-Aqsa, following a treacherous and cowardly Zionist raid—a blatant violation of the sovereignty of an Arab state and a heinous crime in defiance of all international norms and laws.

We extend our deepest condolences to our brothers in Ansar Allah, the Yemeni armed forces, and the people of Yemen. We pray for the speedy recovery of the wounded and express our full solidarity with the Yemeni nation. We honor and take pride in their positions, support, and the vital assistance they have provided to our people in the Gaza Strip.

These precious martyrdoms in Yemen, shed for the defense of the oppressed, today unite with the blood of our Palestinian martyrs in the ongoing Al-Aqsa Flood battle, confirming the unity of our nation, the centrality of our cause, and the threat posed by the Zionist enemy to the security and stability of our region and the world.

May God have mercy on Shaheed Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi and his ministerial companions, grant them spacious gardens in Paradise, reward Yemen for their sacrifice, and heal the wounded. Indeed, to God we belong and to Him we shall return.

☑️ | The tragedy that has befallen Yemen is immense, far-reaching, and unprecedented in its audacity. An illegal and criminal entity has assassinated the country’s Prime Minister and his entire cabinet, a heinous act that cannot be dismissed as a mere incident or regarded as just another event in the chain of martyrdoms that Yemen has endured. This attack shatters any illusion that international laws, conventions, or moral norms can restrain such blatant crimes. The falseness and hypocrisy of the so-called world order are laid bare, revealing that the protection of human life is selectively applied and that oppression is rewarded while justice is ignored.

This is not only a national tragedy but a clear challenge to the dignity and sovereignty of Yemen and to all nations that uphold justice. The eyes of the world have seen how a sovereign state can be violated with impunity, and it is a reminder that international law is often powerless when confronted by arrogance and aggression.

The Yemeni President is expected to address the nation in the coming hours. It is evident that Yemen will respond decisively, and a Wada Sadiq-level retaliatory operation against Israel is not only anticipated but necessary. This response will honor the memory of the martyrs, defend the sovereignty of Yemen, and send a clear message to all who believe they can commit crimes without consequences.

The Yemeni people, united and steadfast, stand ready to support their leaders, honor the sacrifices of their martyrs, and ensure that the perpetrators of this crime are held accountable. The blood of the Prime Minister and his cabinet will not be forgotten, and their legacy will strengthen Yemen’s resolve against all aggressors.

🟨 Breaking — Statement issued by Hezbollah:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Hezbollah extends its deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the brotherly Yemeni people and their steadfast leadership, foremost among them Leader Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, on the martyrdom of Ahmed Ghaleb al-Rahwi, Prime Minister of the Government of Change and Construction, along with a group of ministers, as a result of a treacherous and cowardly Zionist attack targeting an official civilian government meeting in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa.

This barbaric aggression is yet another crime added to the long record of Zionist criminality spanning Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, and Iran, stained with the blood of children, women, the elderly, and unarmed civilians. It exposes the true nature of this enemy, which commits some of the most horrific crimes in history, practices mass extermination, and starves an entire people in full view of the world.

Yemen’s steadfast and strong presence in the field of support for Palestine is the truest and most loyal model of patience and resilience despite the ongoing aggression and blockade it faces. It is an honor and a mark of pride for Yemen to make such grave sacrifices to support Gaza and break the siege, at a time when the entire world remains silent, powerless to provide any aid or stance in the face of the magnitude of the massacres committed by the Zionist entity.

We are certain that this aggression will only increase the Yemeni people’s determination and steadfastness, and it will not deter their courageous leadership from its principled stance of continuing to support Gaza and defend its resilient people. The blood of these righteous martyred leaders will be a source of accountability for the Zionist entity and a symbol of steadfastness and resistance.
