🇱🇧 | Key statements by Hezbollah MP Dr. Hussein al-Hajj Hassan:

• The Lebanese government has shown it is not a government for all Lebanese by deciding to task the army with developing a plan to confine weapons to state control.

• Since its formation, the government has not convened even once to discuss israeli attacks on Lebanon.

• Given the ongoing israeli occupation, the government should have focused on confronting the attacks instead of planning to confine weapons.

• Do officials ask themselves whether they are capable of defending Lebanon or simply responding to American and israeli demands?

• The government should resist external pressures, as national unity is the true way to confront them.

• By its decision, the government is shifting the conflict from israel-Lebanon to Lebanese against Lebanese.

• American envoy Tom Barrack explicitly stated “no guarantees.”

• The recent war caused significant damage, but the resistance has not and will not end.

• israel’s actions after the ceasefire, amidst international silence, have far exceeded what it achieved during the war.

• We are currently awaiting the army commander’s opinion on preparing an implementation plan for weapons confinement.

• Consultations are ongoing to decide our position on participating in the government’s next session.

• The government’s decision has led the country into a tunnel with unknown outcomes.

• This unprecedented, irresponsible decision has plunged Lebanon into an internal crisis without justification.

• Hezbollah does not wish to escalate tensions in Lebanon.

• How can sovereignty be discussed when a foreign envoy’s document sits on the cabinet table for deliberation?

• We do not seek guarantees for Hezbollah, but guarantees for Lebanon and its people.

• We requested from the Prime Minister $40 million to renovate some buildings in the southern suburbs; so far, there has been no response.

| At 3 PM Beirut time today, the Lebanese government will convene one of its most critical meetings yet, to discuss Terrorist Tom Barrack’s proposal; a document which is a blueprint for dismantling the Resistance and compromising national sovereignty.

Resistance has firmly rejected all calls to disarm or surrender. Meanwhile, factions aligned with israel, U.S., and Saudi Arabia — who now invoke the threat of Julani — must be asked: Who is Julani? What was he created for?

These same factions, still trying to conceal Erdogan’s crimes, whom they idolize, must come clean. Will they including certain factions within Hamas that once celebrated the so-called Syrian revolution publicly condemn this farce? Or will they maintain their Qatari-style duplicity?

Everything must be exposed not in the name of sectarianism, but to reveal the horrific reality of how a sect has been weaponized as a malicious tool of Zionism.

The outcome of today’s meeting may well determine the future of Lebanon.

🇱🇧 | Deputy Coordinator of IRGC Quds Force, Brigadier General Iraj Masjedi:

They will take the wish to disarm Lebanon's resistance to the grave with themselves

The scenario of disarming Hezbollah in Lebanon is a failed plan by the US and the Zionist regime.

The resistance's weapon is the weapon of the Lebanese people to defend their land, and this plan will not succeed either in the Lebanese Defense Council or in any other arena.

The resistance forces are ready and equipped, and the Islamic Republic of Iran is fully prepared for any possible scenario.

Yet at the same time, they have turned their capital into a complete sale market for any Zionist power to come, dictate, slap, and leave. 🗞️ | Khaleel Nasrallah:

1) Israeli Army Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi says:

“Israel today has the capability to establish new security boundaries on all fronts through the continuous targeting of our enemies.”

Part of what he said clearly pertains to Lebanon and Syria, referring to these so-called “security boundaries.”

This does not necessarily mean expanding territorial occupation into Lebanon. Rather, it likely refers to preventing the return of normal life to those areas, along with continuing to carry out strikes deep inside Lebanese territory, as is already happening.

2) What Zamir said is unlikely to resonate with the President, Prime Minister, or the vast majority of the Lebanese Cabinet. They will act according to the agendas of Washington and Riyadh, not based on the real threats facing Lebanon. Unfortunately, the Israeli side is clear and transparent and acts in the interest of its settlers, unlike our own state.

3) There are now efforts underway to exclude the Shi’a community in Lebanon. The first and third presidencies (President and Prime Minister) are pursuing one of the most dangerous policies in Lebanon’s modern history. Today, they are carrying out what they previously denied when they claimed they would not sideline any sectarian component.

4) There is no need to object to what the Iranian Foreign Minister said. The Lebanese government has already submitted to the internationalization and regionalization of the Lebanese issue. It has given in to Bin Farhan and Barak, and stayed silent in front of Smotrich.

5i) We warned you. You entered a game whose depth you do not understand, or whose consequences you are unaware of, for the sake of short-sighted political gains. There are also those who have manipulated you for regional objectives that serve both their own interests and Israel’s.

As a result, the Lebanese issue, now under your stewardship, has shifted into a regional matter.

🇮🇷 New defense council formed to increase strategic readiness and strength in the event of renewed aggression

A new national Defense Council has been formed, taking war planning decisions which previously belonged to the Supreme National Security Council.

This new council contains the president, head of parliament, and judiciary head, along with a few representatives of the Leader, and the rest of the positions belonging to the heads of the various military institutions like national army, IRGC, Khatam al-Anbiya, etc.

This is significantly different than the SNSC, where most of the positions were filled by the president's ministers. Concerns over the naivety and weakness of the Pezeshkian administration in a period of war may have contributed to this decision. The only position this current administration holds within the new Defense Council is the president, in this case Pezeshkian. The rest are aligned with the military and the Leader. The president's role in wartime decision-making has been greatly reduced, placing greater power in those who have no delusions about the enemy.

However, there may be a trade-off in that the head of the SNSC was changed, with Ali Larijani being appointed as its head. Since Larijani is loosely associated with reformists, although more of a moderate in reality, his appointment can be seen as a bridge so that the liberal camp doesn't feel left out due to these changeups, which is in the interests of national unity. A very wise and fair move.

The previous SNSC head, Ali Akbar Ahmadian, has been appointed to another position which oversees national development projects, perhaps related to improving the domestic situation, especially when it comes to economic and infrastructure projects. This was a strongsuit under Martyr Raisi (ra), who was constantly occupied with traveling to different regions of the country to inaugurate several economic and infrastructure projects (or traveling abroad to sign various trade agreements with other countries), while the current administration is practically doing the opposite: the Pezeshkian administration has no domestic plan other than to wait for sanctions to be lifted from these negotiations, which only turned out to be a diplomatic ruse to buy time to plan the Zio-American aggression. Economic stagnation is a threat to Iran's security and stability as military attacks are, so this can potentially be a revival of the active development policy of Martyr Raisi.

With such war-related decisions being in the hands of mostly army and IRGC-related top commanders, the Zionist and American enemy should expect no qualms or flinching when it comes to making the necessary decision to protect Iran and punish the enemies of humanity. This change up of war-related decision-making bodies itself is a deterrent as it puts greater fear in the minds of the enemies, because they know they will pay an even greater price if they dare to launch another terroristic aggression against Iran in the future.

🥀 | One must keep in mind that the resistance has carried out these operations under conditions of extreme hunger and thirst. This level of bravery and forbearance hasn’t been witnessed since the eight-year aggression by Saddam against Iran; yet even that is now surpassed. No one can truly estimate the extent of their suffering and sacrifice, and yet the world especially the so-called Islamic world offers them nothing but silence. Worse, their stance is labeled fitna, they are abused, accused of being creations of israel, or completely erased. History will not forget this. It will be written in indelible words. The betrayers will remain betrayers.
