Nahid-2 is a 120 kg telecommunications microsatellite, developed by the Iran Space Research Center. It is designed to operate in low Earth orbit (LEO) and marks a major leap in Iran’s indigenous space technology.

In the wake of the recent massacre in Suwayda, perpetrated by the General Security forces, the Ministry of Defense of the de facto regime, and allied tribal militias widely accused of collusion with HTS a series of devastating testimonies have surfaced, painting a picture of staggering brutality.

Survivors and witnesses recount homes being set ablaze with families still inside men, women, and even children burned alive. In one account, children were thrown from fourth and fifth floors. Beheadings were reported. A woman testified: “My nephews, Basel and Haidara, aged 15 and 16, were kidnapped with their uncle. One had a tattoo brutally removed from his hand. The other was shot six times.” Another resident from rural Suwayda said: “They stormed our house at 4:30 in the morning and burned it to the ground. We don’t know if my uncle is alive or dead. They killed so many people… we don’t even know who’s still alive and who’s been slaughtered.” From Al-Mujaymir village, a survivor of the carnage stated: “They looted and burned houses… so many children died. They killed a 2-month-old baby and also his father, mother, uncle, and aunt. They wiped out the entire family. No one survived.”

In this terrorist attack, three soldiers and law enforcement officers responsible for courthouse security were also martyred. A total of 22 people, most of them civilians, were injured. Some received outpatient treatment and were discharged, while three of them are still under medical care. Currently, the situation in the city of Zahedan is calm and under control.
