The unit suffered a severe blow in Ayta ash Shab during the recent war with Lebanon.
We lost five soldiers in an ambush in Ayta ash Shab during the past war, including platoon and team leaders, and several wounded, including my deputy, who was seriously injured.
The elite Golani unit fell into a well-planned Hezbollah ambush in Ayta ash Shab shortly after a field visit by the then-Chief of Staff "Herzi Halevi."
We entered Maroun al-Ras on the first night of the ground incursion and were subjected to RPG fire, which resulted in the deaths of two of our soldiers and injuries to others.
We trained thoroughly to confront Hezbollah fighters, conducting drills in areas resembling the terrain of southern Lebanon, in Abu Snan and Hurfeish.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
O Proud Nation of Iran!
The fortieth day has arrived since the martyrdom of a group of our dear compatriots, among them competent military commanders and prominent nuclear scientists.
This blow was inflicted by the wicked and criminal Zionist regime the vile and malicious enemy of the Iranian nation.
Undoubtedly, the loss of commanders like Martyrs Bagheri, Salami, Rashid, Hajizadeh, and Shadmani, along with other military personnel, and scientists like Martyrs Tehranchi, Abbasi, and others, is a heavy tragedy for any nation.
However, the foolish and shortsighted enemy did not achieve its goal. The future will show, God willing, that both our military and scientific movements will progress even more rapidly toward lofty horizons.
Our martyrs had chosen a path where the chance of reaching the high rank of martyrdom was always present and they ultimately reached what every true devotee aspires to. May it be blessed upon them.
But the pain and sorrow of this loss is heavy and bitter for the Iranian nation especially for the families of the martyrs, and especially for those who knew them closely.
In this tragic event, however, there are also shining points worth noting:
1. The patience, endurance, and spiritual strength of the bereaved a response seen only in the transformative experience of the Islamic Republic.
2. The steadfastness of the institutions under the leadership of the martyrs, which ensured this heavy blow did not halt progress or create a gap in momentum.
3. The awe-inspiring perseverance of the Iranian nation its unity, spiritual strength, and unshakable resolve to stand firm in the field.
Once again, Islamic Iran demonstrated the strength of its foundation.
The enemies of Iran are striking cold iron.
By the grace of Allah, Islamic Iran will become stronger with every passing day — God willing.
What matters now is that we do not neglect this reality and the duties that stem from it. These duties are as follows:
• Preserving national unity is the responsibility of each and every one of us.
• Accelerating scientific and technological progress in all fields is the duty of our scientific elites.
• Safeguarding the dignity and honor of the nation and the country is the non-negotiable responsibility of speakers and writers.
• Increasingly equipping the country with tools to protect its security and national independence is the duty of our military commanders.
• Diligence, follow-through, and execution of the country’s affairs is the responsibility of all executive institutions.
• Providing spiritual guidance, illuminating hearts, and advising people to be patient and stable this is the role of our esteemed religious scholars.

After nearly two years of continuous killing and destruction which have resulted in hundreds of thousands of martyrs and wounded, along with the demolition of entire cities and residential complexes the oppressed Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip are now enduring extremely harsh living conditions, particularly due to the scarcity of food supplies. This has led to a widespread famine, sparing no one not even children, the sick, or the elderly.
While nothing is expected from the occupying forces other than the continuation of their horrific brutality, in line with their ongoing efforts to displace Palestinians from their homeland, what is expected from the nations of the world, and especially the Arab and Islamic countries, is that they must not allow this catastrophic humanitarian tragedy to continue.
Rather, they must intensify their efforts to put an end to it and use every possible means to compel the occupying entity and its supporters to immediately allow the delivery of food and all other basic necessities to innocent civilians in Gaza.
