Gazans are reporting that a special undercover unit, believed to be israeli, carried out an abduction operation in northern Rafah near the Red Cross hospital, in the vicinity of the “Fish Fresh” restaurant.

According to eyewitnesses, operatives emerged from a Toyota vehicle and abducted Dr. Marwan al-Ahmas, a senior figure in the Hamas Ministry of Health, former director of Abu Youssef Al-Najjar Hospital in Rafah (the same hospital where Hadar Goldin was taken during the 2014 war), and currently in charge of field hospitals in Gaza.

Reports indicate casualties and injuries among nearby civilians during the operation.
