🥀 | She lived her life in extreme simplicity and poverty and wanted to go Gaza:

Martyr Fereshté Bagheri (Afshardi); daughter of Martyr Lieutenant General Mohammad Bagheri, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of our country, who worked as a cultural reporter at the Defa-e-Moghaddas News Agency promoting the culture of sacrifice and martyrdom, joined her martyred uncle in the early hours of Friday, June 13, in an attack by the Zionist regime, along with her father and mother.

According to ISNA and Hamshahri Online, martyr Fereshté Bagheri (Afshardi) was born on December 7, 1997, and graduated in communications from Allameh Tabataba’i University. She began her media work in 2019 at the Defa-e-Moghaddas News Agency. With intelligence and sharpness rooted in her family background, and with exemplary zeal and devotion, she climbed the ranks and became influential in promoting the pure culture of sacrifice and martyrdom.

Martyr Bagheri reached her heartfelt wish martyrdom at the age of 28, following the brutal attack by the cursed Zionist regime, joining her martyred uncle, General Hassan Bagheri, along with her parents. Fereshté Haji-Zadeh, the defense correspondent, later shared stories about years of cooperation with this martyr reporter and her lifestyle.

At the time of announcing the martyrdom of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, she was more affected than all of us. She didn’t even allow the news to be published and said, “Wait, maybe it will be denied!” She didn’t want to believe it and wished to go to Gaza to help the oppressed people of Palestine and Lebanon.

Her family upbringing made her very sensitive to public funds. She was very strict about working hours. She never used the news agency’s resources for personal work, and she never made private phone calls on the office line. Our official working hours were until 4 PM, but if she had to stay after that for personal reasons, she always clocked in and then left. When asked why, she said: “This waiting time for my personal work and has nothing to do with the news agency, so it shouldn’t be counted as overtime.”

During these six years, we had a very close relationship, yet I never once heard her speak ill of anyone or make negative remarks about officials.

She always said, “Kids, don’t judge! We don’t know everything. There will be a day when we must answer to God.” Previously, when we compared her to other children of elites, we were even more amazed. But now we understand that she was a wise girl who chose the right path. Truly, Angel’s family upbringing should be an example. She had great respect for her parents and was a valuable role model for us. She lived simply without a driver or a personal car. Despite her father’s high position, her family did not let her stray from the right path. I hope she forgives us.

🥀 | Martyr Bagheri (r) was the brother of Shaheed Hassan Bagheri (r), who was martyred during the Sacred Defence. Their mother, still alive, has witnessed the martyrdom of the entire family, now spanning three generations...

🥀 | For many, they are just pictures — but for others, they are the whole world. The Office of Imam Khamenei (H) shared the photographs of the martyred commanders, scientists and companions.

☑️ | Those who are stuck in materialistic thinking believe commanders should just save themselves, and out of frustration and anger, they say Iran is weak for letting its people die. This mindset isn’t new back in 60-62 Hijri, people said Imam Husayn (A) himself walked toward tragedy and suffered. They simply don’t understand what covenant to Allah, true courage, jihad, and martyrdom really mean.
