In that era, even among the notable and respected figures of the Islamic world, there were such individuals who knew how to fulfill their religious duties, but lacked a correct understanding of the times and the actual circumstances.

These individuals prioritized second- or third-tier tasks over first-tier, primary responsibilities. This has always been a major problem for the Islamic world. Even today, we can fall into this same trap, choosing less important tasks over what is truly crucial.

We must identify the real, foundational duty upon which society depends and remain prepared to fulfill our most important responsibility in relation to the Imam of our time.”
