🇮🇷 | Message of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps on the Oppressed Martyrdom of the Proud Commander of Islam, Major General Hossein Salami:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful

“Among the believers are men who have been true to their covenant with Allah. Some of them have fulfilled their vow, and some are still waiting, and they have never changed [their commitment] in the least.”

With hearts filled with grief and sorrow, we offer condolences on the oppressed martyrdom of the devoted and tireless commander, Major General Hossein Salami, Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, along with several of his guards and colleagues, who attained the lofty rank of martyrdom during a criminal and terrorist attack by the child-killing Zionist regime in the early hours of Friday, 23 Khordad 1404 (June 13, 2025), targeting the IRGC Command Headquarters, while on a sensitive mission to safeguard the security of the nation and its people.

We extend our condolences and congratulations on this great loss to the presence of His Eminence Imam Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance), to the Supreme Leader and Commander-in-Chief Imam Khamenei (may his shadow be extended), to the dignified and patient families of this honored commander and the other martyrs, to his loyal comrades in the IRGC and Basij, and to the noble and revolutionary people of Iran.

Without a doubt, Major General Salami was among the most distinguished commanders of the Islamic Revolution—a man of the battlefield in scientific, cultural, security, and military jihad—who was always present on the frontlines with sincerity, wisdom, and loyalty to the guardianship in defense of the ideals of the Revolution and the people.

Despite this barbaric crime, the noble and revolutionary people of Islamic Iran are assured that the command hierarchy of the IRGC, with power and vigilance—alongside other armed forces and faithful mujahideen of the Islamic Ummah—is fully prepared to deliver a decisive and harsh response to this Zionist enemy aggression.

The necessary measures for confronting such criminal acts and preventing such incidents have been long considered, and the details of the enemy’s criminal operation, along with the regret-inducing counteraction, will soon be shared with the heroic and insightful nation of dear Iran.
