The Yemeni Armed Forces, in a statement issued on the 14th of Dhul Hijjah 1446 AH, announced a qualitative military operation in support of the oppressed Palestinian people and their mujahideen, and in rejection of the genocide being committed by the Zionist enemy against the people of Gaza. The missile force of the Yemeni Armed Forces targeted Lod Airport, located in the occupied Jaffa area, with two ballistic missiles—one of them a hypersonic missile of the Palestine-2 type, and the other a Zulfiqar-type missile. One of the missiles directly struck the airport, and the Zionist interception systems failed to stop it. The operation successfully achieved its objective by the grace of Allah, forcing millions of Zionist settlers to flee into shelters and halting all air traffic at the targeted airport.

Still, for the sake of argument since some now use this issue to attack an entire sect and to reinforce the truth that treason knows no creed, we say:

The South Lebanon Army founded in 1976 in the Marjayoun area was overwhelmingly made up of Christians, and Saad Haddad himself was Christian.

After Haddad, his successor Antoine Lahad was also Christian.

The second-in-command, later groomed to be Lahad’s successor and granted Israeli citizenship, was Aql Hashem also Christian.

Ruben Abboud, commander of the central sector of Lahad’s army (who fled to Tiberias in 2000), was Christian.

Management of the crossings between occupied and liberated areas was largely entrusted to agents from Christian backgrounds.

Most of the leadership positions and sensitive posts in the collaborator network were assigned to Christians, for reasons known only to the Israelis.

Saying this is not an attack on any sect or religion, nor is it to burden Christians with the sins of these individuals. Rather, it is to stress that an agent must never be judged by his religious identity.

It’s disgraceful to say: “He’s from your community” or “He’s a Shia.” That’s a deep disgrace.

Lastly, the case of the “Jezzine collaborators” in 1998 is another story. Those collaborators were protected by religious authorities who intervened to prevent any accountability and the story is well known.

📕 l Today marks the birth anniversary of the 10th Imam of Ahlulbayt (A), Imam Ali al-Hadi (A), son of Imam Muhammad al-Jawad (A), and grandson of Imam Ali al-Ridha (A). He was born in Siriya, a village founded by Imam Musa al-Kazim (A) near Medina. His mother, Sayyidah Samana (Asma’), was a devout Maghrebi woman, likely from Algeria, purchased by Imam al-Jawad (A) for 70 dinars. She was praised by Imam al-Hadi (A) as a “true knower of his rights and a dweller of paradise.” He became Imam in 220 Hijri, and unlike the case of Imam al-Jawad (A), there was almost no dispute among the Shi‘a over his imamate.

Under Abbasid suppression, the Shi‘a continued to grow across Iraq, Yemen, Egypt, and beyond. Imam al-Hadi (A) maintained contact with followers via the wikala system—a network of deputies who collected khums, issued correspondence, and resolved jurisprudential issues, ensuring stability and leadership continuity.

According to Dr. Jasim al-Husayn, the wikala operated across four regions: (1) Baghdad, Mada’in, Sawad, and Kufa; (2) Basra and Ahwaz; (3) Qom and Hamadan; and (4) Hijaz, Yemen, and Egypt. The deputies played a pivotal role in reinforcing the authority of the Imam and paving the way for the leadership of his successor, especially during Abbasid restrictions on direct access.

Like earlier Imams (A), Imam al-Hadi (A) confronted ghulat (extremist sects) even among his own associates. Figures like ‘Ali b. Hasaka, teacher of Qasim al-Sha‘rani, along with al-Hasan b. Muhammad b. Baba al-Qummi and Muhammad b. Musa al-Shariqi, were associated with exaggerations. Imam al-Hadi (A) condemned these individuals for claiming divine attributes or prophetic status.

One of the most infamous ghulat was Muhammad b. Nusayr al-Numayri, founder of the Nusayriyya sect. He claimed prophethood, believed in reincarnation, same-sex marriage, and permitted incestuous unions. He alleged to be sent by Imam al-Hadi (A) as a prophet and received support from Muhammad b. Musa b. al-Hasan b. Furat. Imam al-Hadi (A) cursed him and others such as Faris b. Hatam al-Qazwini, and even sanctioned the killing of Faris, promising paradise to his killer.

Other extremists included ‘Abbas b. Sadaqa, Abu al-‘Abbas al-Tarafani, Abu ‘Abd Allah al-Kindi (Shah Ra’is), and Ahmad b. Muhammad al-Sayyari, whose views on the Qur’an were regarded as heretical. Husayn b. ‘Ubayd Allah al-Muharrar was also expelled from Qom for promoting exaggeration. These ghulat distorted core Shi‘a teachings and were firmly denounced by the Imam.

According to historical reports, Imam al-Hadi (A) was martyred by poisoning on the orders of Caliph al-Mu‘tazz al-‘Abbasi. A massive funeral procession took place. Though Imam al-Hasan al-‘Askari (A) and the Shi‘a had already prayed over his body, al-Mu‘tazz performed the funeral prayer publicly to maintain control over the narrative. The Imam was buried in the same house where he was imprisoned.

• Finally, both father and son walked alongside the donkey. People burst into laughter:

The lesson is simple but profound: No matter what you do, people will always find fault. If you ride, they’ll say you’re cruel. If your son rides, they’ll say he’s spoiled. If both ride, they’ll say you’re heartless. If neither rides, they’ll mock your intelligence.

This story shows that the human tendency to pass judgment without context, empathy, or understanding. It teaches that seeking universal approval is a futile task. Instead, we must act with sincerity, grounded values, and inner conviction, regardless of what the crowd says.

So when you face backlash for standing for truth, exposing hypocrisy, or challenging power, remember: you are not suffering because you are wrong, but because you are not conforming to what the egotistical masses want to hear.

Stay the course. Let sincerity be your standard, not public approval. And when they slander you, marginalize you, or falsely associate you with movements or agendas to discredit your voice stand firm. History honors the principled, not the popular.

This announcement has led to growing clarity that Iran may formally enter the phase of developing nuclear weapons. In response, it appears Israel is growing desperate to retaliate, while the United States tries to portray itself as preferring negotiations and diplomacy. However, it is clearly a joint agenda between the U.S. and its proxy, Israel. There are three main reasons why Israel may consider this the ideal time to strike: first, it wants to hit before Iran can act on recently obtained intelligence; second, Netanyahu is under political pressure, and a strike may prevent the Ultra-Orthodox Haredi parties from abandoning his coalition, which could trigger snap elections; third, Israel does not want to give Iran an opening for a potential preemptive strike.

While these signs suggest a major escalation, It is quite clear that anything significant will not happen before the scheduled U.S.-Iran negotiations in Oman on Sunday. Before launching any strike, Israel also wants Donald Trump to publicly declare that negotiations with Iran have failed.
