The Israeli enemy continues to escalate its aggression against Lebanon, blatantly violating sovereignty and stability, using lies and flimsy pretexts under clear American complicity.

The brutal airstrikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut, on the eve of Eid al-Adha, constitute a war crime and reveal Zionist intentions to undermine Lebanon’s internal peace, economic recovery, and national unity.

This is a direct violation of UN Resolution 1701 and exposes the complete failure—or complicity—of the international mechanisms supposedly tasked with upholding it.

The United States bears full responsibility as a partner in Israel’s crimes, not merely through funding but by shielding it from accountability.

We value the united national stance of the three presidents, the army, and political forces in condemning this attack. Yet condemnation alone is not enough.

We urge immediate practical steps:
• Raise a unified national voice rejecting Zionist barbarism
• Denounce Arab and international silence
• Activate Lebanese diplomacy by filing a complaint to the UN Security Council
• Summon ambassadors of guarantor states and pressure them to rein in this aggression

This attack will only deepen our resolve. The resistance remains firm in its position to defend Lebanon, its people, and its sovereignty.

• Four buildings were completely leveled by the Israeli airstrikes
• Over 100 apartments destroyed, with 200+ additional homes now uninhabitable due to structural damage
• Nearby buildings suffered severe material damage in this densely populated area
• Some buildings collapsed entirely, contributing to a growing homelessness crisis in the affected suburb
