• Two Israeli airstrikes targeted the town of Touline in South Lebanon.
• Two additional airstrikes struck the outskirts of Buday in the Baalbek district.
• A series of strikes hit Iqlim al-Tuffah heights, Mount Rehan, Wadi Barghoz near Hasbaya, and the outskirts of Qlaileh in the Tyre district.
• Another airstrike targeted Wadi al-Azziyeh, also on the outskirts of Qlaileh.
• Strikes have renewed on the Mount Rehan heights in the Jezzine district.
• An additional airstrike struck the outskirts of Chama, South Lebanon.

These intensifying strikes suggest that Israel may be attempting to reignite a major escalation against Hezbollah. It could also be part of a broader effort to pressure the current Lebanese leadership, particularly under General Joseph Aoun’s command, to enforce the disarmament of the resistance.

You rebuilt the South after the liberation of 2000, and once again after the July 2006 aggression. Now, once more, you have returned to your land ahead of the state and officials. You have challenged danger, made sacrifices, and reclaimed your land and homeland with steadfastness, courage, and reliance on Allah the Almighty.

This year’s municipal and local elections are another challenge—one of endurance, strength of position, and firm attachment to the land. They represent a new step in rebuilding the South through its people, orchards, homes, and the essence of life. All those wagering alongside the Israeli aggression are closely watching the outcome.

We are not addressing you to secure electoral victory—you are, God willing, already victorious through your unity, your support for the Amal Movement and Hezbollah, and your backing of the Loyalty and Development lists. You are the resistance itself. We call on you to intensify your presence and participation in the elections to make this victory resounding.

We will not relinquish a single grain of soil from our generous South. We will not accept the continued Israeli occupation of any inch of our land or homeland. Your strong participation in the municipal and local elections is a vital part of the reconstruction process, which we will pursue with the elected municipalities and the Lebanese state, which must shoulder its responsibilities.

The reclamation and rebuilding of the South—and of everything destroyed in Lebanon—is inseparable from our loyalty to the blood of the martyrs, foremost among them the Master of the Martyrs of the Ummah, Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah (r), and the wounded and imprisoned, whom we will strive to bring back.

Update on the Situation in Lebanon

The Zionist entity carried out numerous airstrikes in Lebanon today as it has been since the beginning of the ceasefire. All but one of these airstrikes were preceded by a warning, and many if not most were carried out within the past hours - i.e., in the middle of the night. By putting these strikes into perspective, one can understand why Hezb has not been retaliating. Anytime a visit by Deputy U.S Special Envoy Morgan Ortagus is approaching, the Zionist entity executes such attacks to 'set the tone' with Lebanese government officials. In other words, the strikes serve as a message and aim to pressure the government into moving toward the usual demands: colliding with Hezb to disarm them by force, integrating into the normalization project, etc. This is the primary aim of the airstrikes. The secondary aim is to pressure the Shi'a and the supporters of the Resistance in Lebanon into 'abandoning' Hezb and Amal in the municipal elections and moving forward. What is essentially happening is the following: the Zionist plot for 'changing the face of the Middle East' included Lebanon, but the Resistance was successful in preventing that from taking place. In an attempt to seize the window of opportunity, the israelis are currently pushing for war with Iran and want to pressure Lebanon into the civil war that would transpire in the event that the government attempts to forcefully confiscate Hezb's military capabilities. This would paralyze the government's institutions and compromise its borders, which would essentially represent the end of Lebanon in its conventional geography. Lebanese President Joseph Aoun has repeatedly said he rejects any trajectory which includes forceful disarmament or internal conflict. Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam said recently that "no one in Lebanon wants normalization". But the Lebanese government's general posture has been to succumb to the international community - specifically the U.S and Saudi Arabia - to gain their trust. The reason for this is obvious. After all, the Lebanese government understands that Hezb has indeed excepted Lebanon from the regional transformations, and that this achievement must not be wasted. Likewise, Hezb understands this and is also rightfully willing to patiently 'let the cloud pass'. However, it remains possible for the war to resume, especially considering the remarks made by U.S Secretary of State Marco Rubio two days ago, who said Syria's "transitional authority [..] are maybe weeks, not many months, away from potential collapse"..
