🟩 Report: Recent Operations: (-13 May):

1. Operation in Shuja’iyya – Coordinated Ground Ambush

A field commander in Saraya al-Quds confirmed that at exactly 12:45 AM on Saturday, their fighters launched a targeted operation east of the Shuja’iyya neighborhood in Gaza City. The operation began by luring Zionist forces into a trap using an anti-armor missile that struck a military vehicle, injuring several officers and soldiers. Shortly afterward, Israeli forces retaliated by shelling the area, and reinforcements from the “Quds Brigade” were sent in. These reinforcements were ambushed with a pre-positioned explosive device of the “Thaqib” type, leading to further Israeli casualties. Following the explosion, the mujahideen engaged the remaining forces with light and medium weapons while tactically withdrawing from the area. This complex, multi-phase ambush was carried out in honor of martyr Nour al-Bitawi, a prominent West Bank military commander.

2. Downing of Israeli Super Heron Drone – Gaza City

Saraya al-Quds also announced that its fighters successfully shot down an Israeli Super Heron drone while it was flying over Gaza City. The operation represents a significant step in the resistance’s ongoing attempts to neutralize enemy aerial surveillance and maintain airspace disruption in favor of ground operations.

🇵🇸 Breaking — Prominent Palestinian journalist Hassan Aslih (r) has been martyred in an Israeli airstrike targeting Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.

Aslih, previously wounded in an Israeli strike on journalists’ tents at Nasser Hospital a month ago, was assassinated while undergoing treatment in his hospital bed — a deliberate attack on press and truth.

Hassan Aslih (r) was a respected voice of Gaza, known for his unwavering documentation of Israeli atrocities since the October 7 war. He played a pivotal role in exposing the suffering of Palestinians under siege, aligning firmly with the resistance axis, and echoing his support for Hezbollah, the Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to Gaza’s Government Information Office, Aslih’s martyrdom brings the number of journalists killed since October 7 to 215.

This was not a random strike — it was an execution of a voice that refused to be silenced.

🟨 Report — Speech of Hezbollah’s Deputy Secretary-General, His Eminence Shaykh Naim Qassim, on the Ninth Anniversary of the Martyrdom of Jihadi Commander Sayyed Mustafa Badreddine (r) – 12 May 2025. (1/9):

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds. And may peace and blessings be upon the noblest of creation—our master, our beloved, and our leader, Abu al-Qasim Muhammad—and upon his pure and immaculate household, his chosen righteous companions, and all the prophets and the righteous until the Day of Judgment.

Peace and mercy of Allah be upon you all.

We are now marking the ninth anniversary of the martyrdom of the great jihadi commander, Sayyid Mustafa Badreddine (Zulfaqar).

On this occasion, I extend both my condolences and congratulations to his noble family, to the people of the resistance, and to all the supporters who continue to embrace this mujahid and the mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance everywhere.

I also take this opportunity to offer my condolences for all the martyrs in occupied Palestine, in proud Lebanon, in blessed Yemen, in generous Iraq, in dignified Iran, and in every place where martyrs have fallen for the cause of resistance and its sacrifices.

Congratulations and condolences to all the beloved, to all the families, and to all those who stand by them.

Today, we will speak about Sayyid Mustafa Badreddine, the great jihadi commander, and also about the broader political situation.

Let me begin by speaking about the great jihadi figure. He was born in 1961, and when he was martyred in 2016, he was 55 years old.

With the blessed victory of the Islamic Revolution in 1979, he was among the most active participants in demonstrations and gatherings commemorating that victory, even though he was not yet seventeen years old.

When Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr—may Allah’s mercy be upon him—was martyred, he was among those who fought and confronted the Iraqi Ba’ath regime at the time, in defense, in retaliation, and in resistance. He was nineteen years old then.

In 1982, during the Israeli invasion, he was among the first to fight in Khaldeh, the gateway to Beirut. He was wounded at that time, and he was twenty-one years old. In other words, from his earliest youth, he occupied frontline positions—defending, resisting, and struggling for just causes, foremost among them the Palestinian cause and the confrontation with the Israeli enemy.

He was imprisoned in Kuwait between 1983 and 1990 for seven years, but he terrified his jailers more than they terrified him.

He was a direct military commander for Hezbollah from 1995 to 1999, for a period of four years. He was targeted during the “Grapes of Wrath” aggression in 1996, led the Ansariyeh operation in 1997, and personally supervised every step carried out by the mujahideen in that well-known operation.

He played a leading role in Syria for five years, overseeing the management of security and military operations there. He went to Syria for the sake of the resistance, in support of the resistance, and to reinforce its position. His presence there was not part of any internal conflict.

Today, we reaffirm that we want a united Syria for all its people—where they cooperate with one another and form their own leadership and government as they wish, with the participation of everyone, far from purges, revenge, and the targeting of Alawite, Druze, and Christian minorities, as is happening at the hands of some factions. We want Syria to be unified and cohesive.

We also strongly condemn the repeated Israeli aggression, and we have great hope in the proud, Arab, Islamic, heroic Syrian people—that they will prevent Israel from achieving its objectives in Syria.

(2/9):

This great jihadi commander is one of the exemplary figures who operated in this field.

Allah Almighty says: “Those who believed and emigrated and strove hard in the way of Allah with their wealth and their lives are of greater degree with Allah; and it is they who will be the successful.”

He was a friend and brother of the martyr Imad Mughniyeh, the great commander—may Allah’s mercy be upon him. He worked alongside the martyred commander and axis-of-resistance leader, Qassim Soleimani—may Allah’s mercy be upon him—and was under the leadership and guidance of the Master of the Martyrs of this Ummah, Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah—may Allah’s mercy be upon him.

The martyred commander possessed political and strategic awareness. He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science in 2005, mastered the English language, and had both a practical and analytical mind. He conducted tough negotiations to secure the release of Lebanese, Palestinian, and Arab prisoners from Israeli occupation prisons.

He excelled in psychological and media warfare, and was an exacting administrator with clear hierarchical discipline.

When Sayyid Hadi, the son of His Eminence the Secretary-General, Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah—Master of the Martyrs of this Ummah—was martyred, it was he who organized the live media coverage of the event. It became a model of powerful media engagement at the time.

He was resolute, commanding both respect and reverence. He took care of the brothers academically, socially, and personally, earning their love and deep attachment.

There is no doubt that he was a true battlefield commander—possessing strength, boldness, and capability. He was one of the many triumphant leaders of the Islamic Resistance.

Now I move on to the broader political situation, and I will summarize it in a few key points:

First: What are we facing?

We are facing an Israeli project in the region that has been ongoing since 1948—more than 77 years. It is backed by massive military power and fully supported by the United States and Western countries with all resources, capabilities, and energy. The goal is to plant a colonial entity in the region—one that seeks expansion to reshape the West Asia.

Over the years, Israel has made repeated efforts to gradually devour Palestine: beginning with the lands of 1948, then those of 1967, and then parts of other Arab countries.

It has never retreated from any position except through confrontation and resistance. In reality, its aim has always been to increase its territorial grabs, seeking total and complete expansion.

Gaza—the symbol of steadfastness, pride, sacrifice, and giving—was able to wage the Al-Aqsa Flood operation under the leadership of Hamas, Islamic Jihad, the Palestinian factions, and the proud, resisting people in all their diversity. Gaza succeeded in exposing and unmasking this usurping entity, which is committing genocide—killing people, destroying homes, erasing life itself, and murdering children.

Everything we hear today about the war on Gaza is, in reality, the killing of those living in tents—children, women, men, and the general population. They have been subjected to a systematic process of starvation since the beginning of March, and this has been happening right under the world’s eyes, with direct American support and sponsorship. This indicates that there is a major decision aimed at killing the spirit of resistance and eradicating any chance for the rightful owners of the land to reclaim it.

However, this is impossible. They want to end the resistance in Gaza, and for a year and seven months, they have been committing these globally and humanly recognized crimes, yet they have not been able to achieve their goal. Netanyahu wants to end life in Palestine, specifically in Gaza, to finish off the resistance and the future, but he has not succeeded, and he will not succeed, no matter how long the war lasts. This is because the Palestinian people are a resistant people, a people of rights, a people of faith, sacrifice, and generosity. It is impossible for Netanyahu, no matter how much support he gathers, to take away the Palestinians’ land, their rights, or their future—even if he continues in power until the end of his term. This people has given tens of thousands of martyrs and tens of thousands of wounded, and has given everything to remain dignified and honorable.

In Lebanon, you know that after the Israeli invasion on May 17, 1983, Israel attempted to sign an agreement with Lebanon. This agreement imposed many humiliating conditions on Lebanon, rendering it powerless and allowing Israel to act as it pleased within Lebanon. The details of the agreement can be revisited. At the time, the balance of power was not in Lebanon’s favor. Two members of parliament, Zahir al-Khatib and Najah Wakim, stood against the May 17 agreement. It was about to pass, but due to the strong popular resistance stance from the scholars, the people, political forces, Syria, Lebanon, and all those supporting the confrontation with the Israeli enemy, they were able, by God’s grace, to bring down the agreement. This means that Israel’s attempt to gradually take more land in Lebanon through the May 17, 1983 agreement failed.

Israel continued its occupation and established the South Lebanon Army, hoping to achieve its territorial goals in another way. But in 2000, a full liberation took place, and Israel was forced to leave, unable to gain further ground in Lebanon.

In 2006, Israel attempted again and failed once more. The resistance triumphed in the equation of the army, the people, and the resistance, preventing Israel from making territorial gains. From time to time, I hear a question: What has the resistance in Lebanon given? After seeing the large and great sacrifices during this phase, with thousands of martyrs, the destruction of homes, and everything that has happened, they ask: What has the resistance provided to justify its continuation?

The resistance, from 1982 until before the Israeli aggression, prevented Israel from seizing land from Lebanon, prevented Israel from signing a humiliating agreement with Lebanon, and stopped Israel from acting as it wished and exerting pressure on Lebanon. From 2006 to 2023, for 17 years, Israel has been deterred. It was unable to achieve anything, and during this period, the south of Lebanon and the country saw economic growth due to this stance.

So, the resistance has made real achievements in Lebanon. It prevented Israel, and if Israel had been able to gradually take land every few years, where would Lebanon be today? What would Lebanon’s situation be like? This is what the resistance has achieved.

Now, in the battle of “Ulī al-Bās", the resistance has demonstrated legendary steadfastness. The resistance fighters prevented Israel from advancing, and the Lebanese people and army, together with the resistance, made sacrifices, endured injuries, and faced captivity in order to prevent Israel from achieving its objectives in Lebanon.

Yes, Israel remained on five hills, or it controlled a limited area. This area could have been Beirut, or it could have been Sidon or other places, were it not for the resistance and its confrontation.

These achievements exist and are real. Therefore, we say that resistance is essential and necessary. What is resistance? Resistance is a defensive choice, resistance is a political vision, and resistance is linked to the liberation of land, dignity, independence, and steadfastness. This is the resistance we call to preserve.

As for responding to threats and surrender, it represents another choice. This choice is the option of submission, surrender, and acceptance of the logic of power. We stand with the logic of truth, not the logic of power. With the logic of truth, we commit to resistance and continue to defend our rights, our land, our future, our youth, our nation, and our generations.

As for those who accept to surrender and submit under the guise of the logic of power, they have no choice, and they bear the responsibility for themselves. As for us, we do not accept to be humiliated. We will always remain with our heads held high, for those who are on the side of truth are always victorious and always in advanced positions.

We always say and always express that we believe in victory or martyrdom, based on what principle? The principle of commitment to truth, the liberation of land, and the liberation of mankind. Victory is a victory, and martyrdom is also a victory because it prevents the enemy from achieving its goals and opens the door for future generations to continue the process of confrontation without the enemy succeeding in its objectives.

Whoever believes in victory or martyrdom on the path of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, who refused to surrender, refused to retreat, refused to pledge allegiance to Yazid, despite the small number of his companions and resources, the result was that he was martyred in the battlefield, but his movement, his direction, and his convictions continued through time. And here we are today, the children of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, following his path and vision, in his dignity, honor, and status, and returning to Allah Almighty. In this path, we have presented the Master of Martyrs of the Nation, Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, may Allah be pleased with him, who embodies this approach. This approach is a way of life and a way to continue. Therefore, his martyrdom is a beacon for us to continue. His martyrdom is for the resistance to remain strong and honored. His martyrdom is so that everyone may unite on one path to preserve the land, recover it, and preserve dignity, honor, and independence. This is something we cannot retreat from. In our belief, the resistance is always victorious through the blood of martyrs and sacrifices.

As for the enemy, it is always defeated. Allah Almighty says in His glorious book: “Say to those who disbelieve, ‘You will be overcome and gathered together to Hell, and wretched is the resting place.’” How long will the Israeli occupation last? How long can they maneuver? How much support will they have? How long will they continue killing? How much longer will Netanyahu remain? The situation will not remain the same.

We cannot specify the exact timing, but in the end, they will lose when we stand firm, when we remain steadfast. We will not give them the illusion of success in their failure and retreat. We will remain standing on our feet, and the enemy will despair of our stance and sacrifices. What the enemy is doing only strengthens our resolve and maintains our strength because we see that the stronger we are, the greater the dignity, honor, and independence we can achieve, as evidenced by the past 44 years. However, when there is hesitation, it means everything will be lost, and this will not happen with us.

Another matter is the ceasefire agreement that took place on November 27, 2024, between the Lebanese state and the Israeli entity, indirectly mediated by the international community with the involvement of the United States, France, and United Nations peacekeeping forces (UNIFIL).

This agreement calls for a ceasefire and includes commitments from both Lebanon and the Israeli entity. Lebanon fulfilled all its obligations, and the Islamic Resistance and all honorable fighters adhered to the ceasefire in the south of the Litani River, enabling the Lebanese army to deploy its forces as the sole armed force in the region to maintain security. Lebanon and the resistance fully implemented these terms, as confirmed by the world, without exception.

On the other hand, Israel did not withdraw. Israel did not stop its aggression. Israel violated the terms more than three thousand times, and all of this is documented in front of the world, and it has been stated publicly. Even the commander of the international peacekeeping forces has stated this and confirmed that the Lebanese side complied, while the Israeli side did not.

The ceasefire was reached because the Israeli enemy had reached a dead end, meaning that continuing the aggression was pointless. We were also convinced that there should be no war, which is why we agreed with the Lebanese state on the ceasefire.

But what is the enemy working on now?

It wants to end the resistance. The reason it initiated the war in the first place and why we fought the Battle of Resilience was to confront this project aimed at ending the resistance. The enemy failed to achieve that, and the ceasefire agreement was reached. Now, it believes that continued pressure and aggression could lead to the political termination of the resistance by pressuring the Lebanese state to exert pressure on Hezbollah throughout Lebanon and strip it of its capabilities.

This has not happened. If they did not succeed in ending the resistance through war, do they expect to achieve that after the agreement through pressure and violations? This is not possible. The aggression Israel carried out recently on the Nabatieh and Iqlim al-Tuffah regions was a reckless attack, playing with fire. This will not allow Israel to achieve its objectives. This is for the Lebanese state to act more effectively, and for the sponsors—the United States, France, and their allies—to take note.

(7/9):

We consider that this phase, after the ceasefire, is the responsibility of the Lebanese state, which has taken it upon itself to implement the ceasefire and adhere to the commitments related to the Lebanese side. We have assisted the state in fulfilling this commitment. It must exert more pressure and take further action.

Let it be clear to everyone, let the Israeli and those behind Israel know that we will not submit to threats and pressures. Even if the entire world gathers to strip us of our rights and land, we will not surrender. We will face all forms of confrontation available to us, depending on the situation, but there will be no surrender. Remove surrender from your vocabulary; this will not happen as long as the resistance exists, God willing.

Here, I would like to point out an important point: If some believe that we are being isolated in Lebanon, that everyone is turning against us and exerting different kinds of pressure to make us retreat and abandon our strength and resistance without detailed coordination with the Lebanese state concerning Lebanon’s protection and power, they are mistaken. This will not happen, no matter the pressure. If some believe that through these pressures they can remove us from the equation, they are deluded.

I want to draw your attention to something: today, Lebanon is heading towards stability. The ones obstructing stability in Lebanon are Israel and Israeli aggression. Moreover, if some in Lebanon respond to the Israeli enemy, this means they are putting the political, economic, and social stability of Lebanon on the path to destruction. Lebanon cannot be stable by isolating a component, or by attempting to single it out, or by pressuring the resistance to give in to what should not be offered after everything it has given, while Israel has not complied at all. Go, first let Israel fulfill its obligations, let it finish the matters that are part of the agreement, and we can then discuss the internal details. There is no problem between us and the President of the Republic, nor between us and the components within Lebanon.

As for thinking that the state is moving forward and stability is advancing while we remain isolated on the sidelines, with pressures from both outside and inside, and that everything is normal—no, it is not normal. Stability cannot happen under these conditions. This country will only be stable when we all cooperate, when we are all stable, and when we all live our lives normally.

Here, I want to address a message to the resistance’s supporters:

Before you is the strength of resolve that we fought alongside you with—full of vigor, strength, honor, dignity, sacrifice, jihad, and dedication. Before you is the experience of the ceasefire, steadfastness, and the presence of the people in the villages, working cohesively.

The experience during the battle and after the ceasefire has proven that we are strong on the ground, that we can prevent these dangers from reaching us, and that we will not allow the enemy to achieve its objectives.

You are the ones who defeat the enemies and their “villains.” You are the ones who reclaim the land with your steadfastness. You are the promising future of Lebanon, with its resistance, army, and people striving for independence and freedom. No one plays games between us, and no one thinks they can weaken our resolve.

As for those few in Lebanon who serve Israel with their stances, we tell them: do not be servants of Israel. In doing so, you are obstructing and paralyzing the country and causing harm to it. You are preventing real participation and genuine interaction.

By the way, Israel’s servants do not add to Israel’s benefit because they are the ones creating tension. This tension negatively impacts them, not us. Do not justify Israel’s actions. Is it conceivable that one would claim the bombing of Nabatieh has nothing to do with Lebanon? Is it because the bombing targets people with no relation to the Lebanese structure or the Lebanese reality? Who among you, with a sound mind, would say this and stand in such a position?

In any case, Israel’s servants are well-known to us. Their history is dark, their corruption has destroyed Lebanon, and they always work in a way that harms their society, their community, and those who support them. Have mercy on yourselves and the country. These people provoke the country for no reason.

For your information, the country is progressing with economic development, administrative organization, municipal elections, and arrangements to move Lebanon to a new stage. At the same time, in the face of Israeli aggression, there are calls to end the Israeli aggression. Yet they come out to say: No, you must first do what is required of you, and Israel is right. Thus, they increase tension in a time when attention should be focused on Israel, both in terms of stopping it and building the country.

Israel’s servants are greatly mistaken. We tell them: Return to your patriotism, return to your Lebanese identity, return to cooperation, and let us be partners.

The other matter is that today we are facing a new era under the presidency of His Excellency President General Aoun. This new era carries great hopes. No one should think that this new era cancels out all the others or does things that the others cannot do. No, this new era is one in which we are partners, and we are part of it.

As Hezbollah and the Amal Movement, we made the greatest contribution when President Joseph Aoun was elected, and we proved to everyone that we are part of the country’s building and its launch. So, what is happening in Lebanon is a new phase of construction, a new era, and we are an integral part of this new era. All the blessings of this new era are ours as well, and we contribute to them. When there is openness to some Arab and foreign countries, and relations that are returning to their previous state or improving, this is because we are part of this conviction. We want the Arab countries to return to Lebanon; we want the world to cooperate with Lebanon. We want those who took previous stances for various reasons to return to Lebanon, because we believe in common interests. Why shouldn’t these interests be for everyone? Therefore, what is happening from blessings, we are partners in it.

But I tell these countries: Do not impose your damaging choices on Lebanon, and do not prioritize one team over another unjustly. You have interests in Lebanon, and we welcome that, take your interests, and give us our interests in Lebanon as Lebanese.
