Hezbollah strongly condemns the cowardly Zionist aggression that targeted the “Global Conscience” ship in international waters, which was en route to deliver humanitarian aid to over two million Palestinians who are subjected to a suffocating and unjust siege in the Gaza Strip.

This attack on a civilian peace vessel carrying relief aid constitutes a blatant violation of international laws, norms, and human values. It once again affirms that this rogue entity respects no international resolutions and only knows terrorism and arrogance. It does not hesitate to use all internationally prohibited means to achieve its goals and satisfy its thirst for blood and destruction.

In Hezbollah, we consider that this crime, like all the other crimes and massacres in Gaza and elsewhere, would not have occurred were it not for the blatant U.S. support for this temporary entity, the shameful international complicity, and the disgraceful Arab silence in the face of the genocide that the Israeli enemy is waging against the Palestinian people.

While we call for the widest international and Arab condemnation of this crime that reveals the true face of the Zionist enemy, we also call for the protection of the ship, its crew, and the activists on board. We warn of the treachery of the Israeli enemy, who, years ago, did not hesitate to target the Mavi Marmara ship and kill several of its passengers.
