🇱🇧 Breaking: Statement from Jamaat-i Islami; Beirut:

In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

“And never think that those who are killed in the cause of God are dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision.”

Jamaat-i Islaami mourns the martyrdom of the academic and militant leader, Dr. Hussein Izzat Atwi, who was assassinated by a treacherous Israeli drone strike.

The attack targeted his vehicle as he traveled on the morning of Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from his home in the town of Bawarta to his workplace in Beirut.

The Islamic Group condemns this cowardly crime and holds the Zionist enemy fully responsible. The statement asks: “How long will this Zionist arrogance be allowed to tamper with the security of Lebanon and the Lebanese?”

🇸🇾 Report: In the early phase of the Israeli-led assault against anti-Zionist resistance factions, the Syrian regime—for serving america, israeli and regional traitors' interests—has intensified its crackdown on Palestinian resistance groups. Over recent months, the Syrian government has reportedly disclosed safe house locations, enabled Israeli airstrikes, and arrested multiple fighters from Saraya al-Quds and Al-Qassam Brigades.

Now, after a documented meeting between Julani and U.S. intelligence officials, the crackdown has escalated to target political officials from Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) and Saraya al-Quds directly.

In a public statement, Saraya al-Quds called on the Syrian government to release their detained members. This campaign isn’t isolated. The assassination of Dr. Hussein Izzat Atwi (r), a senior commander from Lebanon’s Sunni Jamaat-e-Islami, and continued shelling near Shebaa Farms, point to a larger pattern of collaboration—where regimes like Syria’s are now clearly facilitating the silencing of Sunni resistance factions.

The narrative must change: this is not about sect or group loyalty—Shia or Sunni, Hezbollah or Amal, Iranian-backed or not—but about recognizing a systematic effort to dismantle all effective anti-Israel resistance units under the pretext of regional security.

Unless this collaboration is called out and confronted, the region risks being stripped of its final lines of defense.

| Latent losers, cowards who flee when exposed—takfiri admirers who seek covert terrorist faction formation, takeover, or massacre as caliphate. who—are just repeating: “Give Julani time, give him time?” These trans-creatures will flee from the ground. The same ones who daily spew support for the terrorist takeover and fragmentation of Syria, who celebrate its downfall as a victory for their version of Islam—where are they now, when the leaders of Palestinian resistance are being assaulted and arrested?

Until when will these people keep deceiving the simple-minded and hollow-hearted in the name of sects? They need to be crushed—like the traitors they are.

📕 | Imam Khamenei's (H) advices related to ethics on Cyber space: (1/3):

Virtual space has today become a serious and inseparable part of all our lives, encompassing many aspects of daily existence such as the economy, education, business, entertainment, and more. Therefore, strengthening and improving our engagement with it is absolutely necessary. As stated on March 22, 2020 by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khamenei:

“Today, virtual space governs the lives of people across the world, and many conduct all their affairs through it. Strength in this domain is vital.”

Like all chosen real-life arenas—such as marketplaces, universities, and stadiums—virtual space also comes with capacities, shortcomings, strengths, and vulnerabilities. We must discover a way of life in this new space, which expands daily, in order to shield ourselves from its dangers and benefit from it as much as possible.

Upholding ethics, maintaining courtesy, acting justly, and behaving rationally in virtual space is a crucial matter—more so now than ever before. The Leader also emphasized this during a meeting with guests of the Islamic Unity Conference and various officials of the Islamic Republic on October 24, 2021:

“Today, in virtual space, one sometimes witnesses blatant injustice: lies are told, slander is spread, unverified claims are made. These are all forms of injustice and should not happen. Anyone engaged in virtual space must be vigilant, and those who control virtual platforms must exercise even greater care to prevent such actions.

We must learn—and make it a habit—to interact with people justly. Even if you dislike someone and reject their views, that’s your right—it may even be a valid opinion—but it must not be contaminated with slander, lies, or insults. That kind of contamination is deeply harmful. This, too, is a matter of justice.”

From an ethical perspective, justice as a malakah (stable trait) is a firm state whereby one avoids sin. In Islamic jurisprudence, this justice is a required condition for roles such as the prayer leader (imam), judge (qadi), and witness (shahid). Thus, justice in virtual space means continual self-discipline that keeps a person away from both major and minor sins.

🌎 | Virtual Space with Cultural and Ethical Attachments: (1/2):

In Islamic societies, the way people behave with one another has always been of great importance. For centuries, ethical scholars have taught the etiquette of social interaction through moral treatises—using prose, poetry, sermons, and stories to illustrate the many forms of human relationships and to instruct on ethical conduct in both social and personal dealings. Today, with the vast expansion of human communication in virtual space, this issue has gained even more significance. Enlightened scholars strive to extend the path of hayat tayyibah—a pure, wholesome life—into every dimension of human existence.

From the perspective of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, virtual space is a double-edged sword: it can become either a blessing or a curse. This view, while embracing modern technology, also stresses the necessity of accompanying cultural and ethical frameworks. It is a mindset that measures proper conduct in virtual space according to moral standards and just behavior.

According to the Leader:

“Virtual space has become a real part of people’s lives.”

This space requires both managerial responsibility from the authorities and taqwa (God-consciousness) and just behavior from individuals. With concern, he addressed the moral dangers that have spread in society and also provided the remedy:

“Now in virtual space, it has become common—almost routine—for people to speak ill of one another, for this one to slander that one, to amplify minor weaknesses, to ruin the reputation of believers without it even being clear who is doing it. Well, this is a very bad thing. Among our youth, such things exist and they must be curbed; this is possible through spiritual education.”

🎥 | Ethics Is Not Optional: Imam Khamenei (H): (3/3):

The internet and social media platforms—like all phenomena—have both positive and negative consequences. With proper planning and by raising public awareness, we can benefit from their positive outcomes while minimizing the harms.

The ease of access, speed, and volume of dissemination are key features of this space, which can serve as a platform for faithful revolutionary youth and Hezbollah-type individuals to engage in clarification (tabyīn) and the promotion of Islamic and revolutionary values. This is a crucial duty that the Leader of the Islamic Revolution has repeatedly emphasized, calling for the breaking of the enemy’s propaganda siege through proper management of virtual space. Undoubtedly, one of the unparalleled capacities of cyberspace is its use in fulfilling the jihad of clarification, as Imam Khamenei stated:

“You can spread correct and sound ideas. You can respond to doubts and ambiguities in this space using these tools, and you can truly engage in jihad in this field.”

(September 27, 2021)

However, in a space where some actors enter the virtual world with psychological warfare techniques and have no qualms about deception and media trickery—using unethical methods like rumor-spreading, lying, slandering individuals, or manipulating people’s reputations—can one respond in kind? Can unethical or unjust tactics be used in the name of clarification? Can the necessity of promoting values justify crossing ethical boundaries?

Imam Khamenei answered these questions clearly:

“One must certainly follow ethical methods in this work. What some people do in virtual space, or in newspapers, articles, and here and there—responding to public opinion with insults, slander, deception, and lies—must be strongly avoided. Truth must be conveyed with strong reasoning, sound speech, full rationality, adorned with human emotions and the use of ethics.”

(September 27, 2021)

From this perspective, young, faithful revolutionaries must observe sharʿī (Islamic legal) responsibility in their online conduct. They must not, out of concern for defending ideals, abandon fairness or ridicule and humiliate others with improper language. Nor should they, under the pretext of ideological disagreement, expose personal or family matters or unproven accusations. For as the Leader firmly warned:

“If in the name of justice-seeking and revolutionary activism we trample over ethics, then we have caused harm; we have deviated from the path of Imam [Khomeini]. If, in the name of being revolutionary or justice-seeking, we insult and harm our brothers—those who may disagree with us intellectually but who believe in the system and in Islam—then we have deviated from the Imam’s line. ‘Let not the hatred of a people lead you to be unjust. Be just: that is nearer to taqwa (piety).’ (Qur’an 5:8)”

(June 4, 2011)

Alongside encouragement for the use of virtual space and a careful assessment of its dangers, Imam Khamenei has emphasized proper, ethical usage. From the standpoint of forbidding wrong, he has warned about common sins in this space—like lying, slander, mockery, and character assassination—and from the position of enjoining right, he has advised active users:

“Use virtual space to inspire hope, to recommend patience, to call to truth, to raise awareness, and to advise against laziness, passivity, and idleness.”

(March 11, 2021)

With this logic, the presence of the faithful revolutionary community in virtual space can be described as a learned presence with just behavior, whose continued engagement will reflect the rich culture of Islamic Iran and strengthen the identity, values, conduct, and lifestyle of the general population.

🟨 Breaking: Statement by Hezbollah’s Islamic Relations Official, Sheikh Abdul Majeed Ammar:

We strongly condemn the treacherous and cowardly crime committed by the israeli enemy in the assassination of Sheikh Hussein Atwi, a leader in the Islamic Group. This act is part of the ongoing arrogance of the enemy, its repeated violations of Lebanese sovereignty, and its continued attempts to target the resistance in all its forms. If this indicates anything, it is that the resistance is one unified path and that the enemy is one.
On behalf of Hezbollah, we extend our deepest condolences and congratulations to our brothers in the Islamic Group and to the family of the martyr, asking Almighty God to envelop him in His vast mercy, among the martyrs and the righteous.

The enemy’s persistence in its crimes, under blatant American cover and encouragement, is a result of the failure of the countries sponsoring the ceasefire agreement and the inaction of the international community in fulfilling its responsibilities. This emboldens the enemy to continue its savage aggression and unchecked recklessness without deterrence.

This ongoing aggression, which was repeated today in the southern town of Hanniyeh, resulting in the martyrdom of one person and the injury of several others, obligates the Lebanese state to fully assume its national responsibilities. It must not remain in the position of a helpless bystander, nor settle for issuing statements of condemnation that have proven ineffective and have failed to deter the enemy. Instead, it must take serious, effective, and urgent steps at all levels and by all available means.

| Criminal Yoav Gallant, in an interview with Kan Channel, exposed a trench that had been falsely portrayed as a deep tunnel to exaggerate the strategic importance of the Philadelphi axis and stall the prisoner deal. He stated: “You want me to tell you something about this image? Let’s break it down—I verified it. What the public doesn’t see is that this trench is not 20 or 30 meters underground. It’s only about a meter deep, used to transport water, and covered—similar to culverts under highways. They just threw some dirt over it, took a photo, and made noise. In the end, no combat vehicles even passed through the Philadelphi axis.”

[We’ve said it many times: these Israeli broadcasts and boasts of supposed victories are fabrications. Even their own ministers are now exposing the lies. In truth, they haven’t achieved any real strategic objectives. Most of the data they publish is manipulated—if not entirely false, then grossly exaggerated. The actual percentage of tunnels destroyed doesn’t even reach 20%. Remember, in a meeting with top rabbis, Netanyahu was explicitly urged to “win this war by all means—even with deception.” What we’re witnessing now is the unraveling of that deception. Every false attack, every staged publication, is collapsing under the weight of exposure—bringing only more shame and disgrace to the entire Israeli narrative.]
