Al-Quds is not merely a political issue, nor just a dispute over land and borders. Rather, Al-Quds is the cause of human liberation in this region and the world. It is the highest expression of the path towards the victory of the oppressed, the downtrodden, and the persecuted—those who reject and resist oppression, arrogance, tyranny, occupation, and aggression in all corners of the world. Al-Quds is not just the capital of Palestine but the capital of the earth and the meeting point with the heavens. Because Al-Quds holds such grandeur and significance, it deserves to be the focal point of unity for believers, the free, and the honorable across the entire world.

The Resistance strongly condemns today’s Zionist aggression against the southern suburbs and its residents, rejecting all its fabricated and hasty pretexts. The Resistance reaffirms its commitment to thwarting the policies of this enemy and all its attempts to drag Lebanon into normalization. Since the Resistance bears the responsibility, it calls on the government to strengthen national solidarity against the Zionist enemy and to take practical steps to repel dangers, forcing the enemy to withdraw from our occupied land unconditionally and to cease its aggression against Lebanon.

The Resistance, which has agreed to the ceasefire declaration, remains committed to it and does not violate it. However, the state must fulfill its duty to deter the enemy and force it to end its aggression and occupation by all available means, rather than merely justifying its own shortcomings, incapacity, and misplaced reliance.

Whoever deludes themselves into assuming that the Resistance has become a thing of the past and that its triangular equation has vanished without return should—out of sincere advice—beware the intoxication of temporary authority. Governments usually fade into the past, but the equations drawn by martyrs with their pure blood and noble sacrifices remain eternal, even beyond history.

Those who claim exclusive authority over decisions of war and peace in our country, or insist that such authority belongs solely to the state or any other entity, are in denial of reality and truth. In our time, it is the Zionist enemy alone that launches wars, continues aggression, and maintains occupation. The state alone does not possess the capability to defend its country or protect its people. Some within it even work to promote defeatism and surrender among the citizens, in submission to the enemy’s plan and in compliance with its will. Therefore, the government—its president and ministers—must at least unify its national discourse during this critical stage.
