Regarding the Targeting of the American Aircraft Carrier “Harry Truman” and Several of Its Warships for the Second Time Within 24 Hours in Response to American Aggression – March 17, 2025.
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Allah Almighty says:
“So whoever has assaulted you, then assault him in the same way that he has assaulted you. And fear Allah and know that Allah is with those who fear Him.”
— The Almighty has spoken the truth.
In response to the continued American aggression against our country, and on the anniversary of the Battle of Badr, as an extension of the path of Islam in confronting tyranny and arrogance, the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out new operations.
By the grace of Allah, for the second time within 24 hours, the Yemeni Armed Forces targeted the American aircraft carrier USS Harry Truman in the northern Red Sea with a number of ballistic and cruise missiles, along with drones, engaging in a battle that lasted for several hours.
The Yemeni Armed Forces successfully foiled an enemy attack that was being prepared against our country, forcing enemy warplanes to retreat after launching missiles and drones at the aircraft carrier and its accompanying warships.
With reliance on Allah, the Yemeni Armed Forces are confronting this criminal aggression and responding to escalation with escalation. We will continue implementing the additional escalation options mentioned in the speech of Sayyid Abdulmalik Badruddin al-Houthi (h) should the aggression against our country persist.
The Armed Forces salute the great Yemeni people and all the free individuals of our nation who have expressed their rejection of this aggression. We reaffirm our continued ban on Israeli ships from passing through the operational zone until the blockade on Gaza is lifted.
Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs. What an excellent Patron and an excellent Helper.
Long live Yemen—free, honorable, and independent.
