يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اسْتَعِينُوا بِالصَّبْرِ وَالصَّلَاةِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ

Yā ayyuhā alladhīna āmanū istaʿīnū biṣ-ṣabri waṣ-ṣalāh, inna-llāha maʿaṣ-ṣābirīn.

“O you who believe! Seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with those who are patient.”

We have received the best of our leaders, the best of those who led the resistance. We have lost many of them, and we will lose many more, but we will stand steadfast. There is no other option for those who fight for Allah. Hamza (a) was martyred at the very start of Islam, but the Prophet (S), His Ahlulbayt (a), and the Sahaba (r) continued the struggle with strength.

Statement of the “Yemeni Armed Forces” Regarding the Targeting of the U.S. Aircraft Carrier “USS Harry Truman” in Response to American Aggression – March 16, 2025

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Allah Almighty says:

“So whoever transgresses against you, transgress against him in a like manner as he transgressed against you. And fear Allah and know that Allah is with the righteous.”

— The Almighty has spoken the truth

The American enemy launched blatant aggression against our country in the past hours, carrying out more than 47 airstrikes targeting various areas in the provinces of Sana’a, Sa’dah, Al-Bayda, Hajjah, Dhamar, Ma’rib, and Al-Jawf. The American enemy committed several massacres, resulting in the martyrdom and injury of dozens, with the toll still incomplete.

In response to this aggression, the armed forces, by the grace of Allah, carried out a special military operation targeting the U.S. aircraft carrier “USS Harry Truman” and its warships north of the Red Sea. The attack involved 18 ballistic and cruise missiles along with a drone strike, in a joint operation executed by the missile force, the drone air force, and the naval forces.

The Yemeni Armed Forces will not hesitate to target all American warships in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea in response to the aggression against our country. By Allah’s will, we will continue enforcing the naval blockade on the Israeli enemy and imposing restrictions on its ships in the declared operational area until humanitarian aid and essential supplies are delivered to Gaza.

This American aggression will only increase the steadfastness, faith, and resilience of dear Yemen and its steadfast, believing, and struggling people.

Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs. What a great protector and what a great helper.

Long live Yemen—free, honorable, and independent!

• For 15 days, the Israeli enemy has completely sealed off the crossings into Gaza, preventing aid and goods from entering, further worsening the suffering of the Palestinian people.

• The American involvement alongside the Israeli enemy as a partner in all its crimes and its role in protecting it is the core issue that has led the Ummah to this level of neglect and complacency.
• As our Ummah is in the holy month of Ramadan, it is necessary for everyone to remember their humanitarian, ethical, religious, and faith-based responsibilities.
• Everyone must understand the grave mistake and danger when people fear America more than they fear divine punishment.
• When the Ummah neglects its major, sacred, and essential responsibilities, it opens the doors of evil upon itself.
• When the Ummah is shackled by fear and terror, the Americans become even more aggressive, posing great dangers to our nations.
• The Americans and Israelis have massive ambitions and criminal, aggressive projects aimed at targeting our Ummah.
• The Americans and Israelis operate based on ideological beliefs, colonialist tendencies, and a tyrannical and criminal mindset.
• Our country’s stance and decision to support the Palestinian people was to impose a blockade on Israeli shipping, and it is clear that this decision is solely directed at the Israeli enemy.
• Yemen’s position was intended to pressure the Israeli enemy into opening the crossings for humanitarian aid to enter Gaza and ending the starvation campaign.
