Al-Sheer, Lattakia | HTS Militants Execute Unarmed Alawite Men
Recently surfaced footage from the Al-Sheer Massacre in Latakia shows HTS militants interrogating young unarmed men in a Lattakia. The fighter asks, “Do you believe in God?” The martyr replies, “We believe in God.” Mockingly, the militant responds, “Why? Do you even know God?”
After beating and insulting the captives while demanding their mobile phones, the jihadist fighters argue over who will carry out the execution. Eventually, both unarmed men are murdered—executed solely for belonging to the Alawite sect.
To those who justify such brutality in the name of faith: The god you claim to worship—the one who permits you to slaughter innocent women, children, and men for their religious identity—is unknown to us. For our God does not command us to kill anyone.
