Their persecution has not ceased since the fall of the previous regime, targeting them through killings, kidnappings, economic strangulation, and collective humiliation. When some Alawites rejected this oppression, Julani’s gangs launched a full-scale genocidal campaign against them.
Their propaganda prepared the ground for this by spreading lies about “remnants” and supposed “support” from Iran, Russia, and Israel—when, in reality, the only force they truly serve is Israel itself. Julani continuously bows, even prostrates, before Netanyahu. Meanwhile, Russia has not moved a single plane to aid the coastal region, and Iran is unable to even bring a straw into Syria today.
