The IOF occupied a buffer zone in the Golan Heights and advanced deep into Syria, capturing the strategic heights on the eastern slopes of Mount Hermon. The IOF took control of Quneitra, al-Hamidiya, and Samdaniya al-Gharbiya, occupying a total of 500 square kilometers of Syrian territory.

▪️ The israeli Air Force and Navy launched strikes on Syrian military installations, weapons depots, and civilian infrastructure, leading to mass evacuations. Netanyahu initially called the military deployment a “temporary measure” but later declared an indefinite israeli military presence in the occupied territories.
